A viewer sent me a link to a newspaper called The Holt County Sentinel from August 4, 1865 which mentioned the duel. It's on the bottom of column 5. Thank you, Mr. Taylor, for finding this evidence. As part of my research, I fire a replica of the pistol Wild Bill Hickok supposedly used in the duel against Davis Tutt in Springfield, Missouri just after the Civil War on July 21, 1865. Can I make the same shot that Wild Bill Hickok made? Did the duel actually happen? Is this legend true? Find out more in the video.
