In episode 4 of tales of the Jedi, Dooku deletes all information regarding Kamino in the archives, and walks out to see many people chattering. He asks Jedi master Jocasta nu, the archive keeper, what the fuss is about. She says Qui-Gon has claimed to have encountered a Sith Lord, and that he always had quite the imagination, much like you, Dooku.
Dooku glances around the room at the chattering members of the Jedi Temple and says a quality valued less and less in these great halls. This right here is literally the reason Dooku turned to the dark side. He saw that the Jedi didn’t care anymore to think for themselves. This was the reason that Qui-Gon was not on the Jedi council, despite being granted the rank of master. He had the tendency to act on his judgement, and to sway to the will of the force, rather than be dogmatic like the Jedi had become. For example, no other Jedi member would have manipulated the chance cube like he did in the bet to free Anakin as a slave from Watto. Every other Jedi would have left it to chance, but Qui-Gon took control of the situation and wouldn’t have let this vergence in the force that was Anakin, be taken from him by the luck of a chance cube which was probably rigged by Watto anyway, let’s be real.
This one line to me meant that Dooku fully believes the jedi council has changed and doesn’t care for their fellow jedi to think for themselves or to really problem solve, but rather to be more like a machine and just live within the confines of their dogmatic rules. It’s not in a jedi’s interest to have an imagination, for this would lead into a jedi thinking for themselves. When one has so many rules to live by, that are forbidden to be broken, it really clouds ones judgement, and takes them off the track of the force entirely because they’re not feeling anymore, they’re thinking about what they can or cannot do. that’s not the force. So when one of their highly respected Jedi like master qui gon jinn says he encountered a sith, the first sith in a thousand years, and no one believes him because they’re too caught up in their own arrogance, thinking no one would dare challenge the jedi as they haven’t in over a thousand years. Qui-gon was betrayed by the jedi council in the end. They didn’t send any jedi to help him and obi-wan incase this sith apprentice or lord would show up to interfere.
And in the end, it was all that was needed for Dooku to finally be pushed into the hands of Sidious, pledging his loyalty to the dark side of the force, and killing yaddle as tribute to his new master.

___________________________________________________
at the end of andor we got an end credits scene, where we saw the many pieces of machinery that cassian and the rest of the inmates in the secret prison were constructing day in and day out. What looked like an upgraded version of buzz droids constructing these pieces, flipped over to create the massive dish of the Death Star, we finally got to see everything come into play. Now, before I elaborate on how Andor changes the fate of the galaxy and really slows Palpatine down, I need to talk about the prison. There obviously was something very weird going on with that prison that the empire kept repeating everyone’s sentences, moving them around the prison until they died of old age. This was to prevent them from telling anyone about what they were building when they got out. In the rare chance an engineer could figure out what this machine could be used for, and perhaps tipping off a full investigation publicly or even worse, privately to be exposed. However, enough of the machines were made that we saw them being implemented into the death star that was almost fully operational. Now in Rogue One, which is about a few weeks before star wars episode IV a new hope, we saw the destructive fire power of the battle station for the first time at Tarkin’s orders on Jedha city.
This means it’ll take another while for the death star to be fully operational, and with the possible escape of the prison, all the parts required are delayed.
Now with the delay, this could very well be why Tarkin was ripping on Krennic for the constant set backs, as he took control of the battle station, which fuelled the ‘we stand here amidst my achievement, not yours’ line that Krennic expressively gave to Tarkin.
I think Cassian and Kino Loy’s prison escape put a massive dampner on the Empire’s plans, and force Palpatine to keep the senate around just long enough so that the rebel alliance grew in power and size. If the death star had been ready even a moment earlier, Palpatine would have had total control over the galaxy by perhaps months or maybe even years ahead of time.
This means Luke Skywalker would have had to be sought out sooner by Obi-Wan, and the death star plans might not have been leaked as early as they did in Rogue One. And even if they were, Jyn was younger, and maybe not as formidabble. Saw Gerrera was possibly not in the right place to take her in. So many variables could have been altered if the death star was ready sooner, which Cassian put a stop to. Now don’t get me wrong, he did have a playing hand in the very machine that lead to his and Jyn’s demise, however, he slowed it down just enough to let the rebellion reach the height it needed so that Luke Skywalker could blow up the death star with the use of the force, killing Tarkin and billions of imperial personnel aboard the battle station. Did you know in Star Wars issue 14, that when Vader flew off, spinning from the explosion of the death star, he ended up on a nearby random planet and had to fight these Hyenax on a field. reference - youtu.be/RE5uibSgxSY
Now, there is a controversy with the end credit scene that i must discuss, and that is the fact that the planet is not geonosis. The death star was built over geonosis, however, here it is clearly a different planet. Why is this? Well, it could be a mistake by the director, or perhaps at this moment, for whatever reason, the death star had flown to another part of the galaxy to a different planet. For those who don’t know, the death star was built over geonosis and the empire exterminated all geonosians. The whole idea was stealth and keeping things on the low. If anyone would ever find out that such a planet destroyer was being made, palpatine would no longer be emperor, and the galaxy would impeach him.
So it was prudent he kept this all a secret. and a secret it was kept, quite well I must say. Cassian didn’t find out about the death star until rogue one and mon mothma is oblivious to its existence as well. This fight to bring down the empire was done so out of the sheer dislike they have for how the empire has ruled the galaxy, but once the rebels find out about the death star for the first time, it’ll be quite interesting to see them scramble.

we start the final episode off at the Repaak Salyard on Ferrix, where Wilmon Paak builds a pipe bomb with the hologram of his late father next to him to inspire his fight against the empire. as we flip over to Dedra landing in a t4-a lambda class shuttle. Whenever you see one of these, there’s usually a high ranking imperial in there, or vader or palpatine themselves with troopers.
Bixx is recovering from the torture sessions the ISB put her through.
Cassian’s buddy Brasso meets with the guy who told Cassian about his mother’s death over the phone, Xan, and reveals to him that Cassian called. They both keep walking to avoid any lurking eyes and ears of the empire, as they know spies are everywhere waiting for Cassian to arrive for Maarva’s funeral.
We see Cintra walking the streets of Ferrix while Corv is oblivious for the time being.
...continued in video
I think it would have been fun to see Palpatine dissolve some of the nay sayers in the senate, including Mon Mothma, or at least have Mas Amedda in there. I would have liked to have seen more Senate scenes, however the end credit scene was delivered nicely with the death star being built.

However, I could see Palpatine showing up at the end at the senate hearing, as well as the Empire hiring Boba Fett or some Bounty Hunter to capture Cassian Andor, as the Empire's ISB continuously fails.

Marva passes away, and we see the droid B2EMO very sad. I think B2EMO might have his consciousness put into a K2SO droid, making him K2SO from Rogue One who hangs with Cassian.
Vel visits Kleya in Luthen’s shop, and she’s abandoning all the rules by openly speaking about everything Luthen and the rebellion have been up to. Vel is tired of all the games, and continues to speak candidly about everything.
Bix comes out of torture and she’s hurt bad, the Empire shows no mercy. They ask her if she introduced Kreegyr to Cassian, and she remains silent, knowing that they’re going to continue the torture methods on her. She stands her ground and protects Cassian. She’s a strong woman.
Mon and Vel observe her daughter in some sort of cult with her friends chanting about the ways of the old Chandrilans. Super weird, it seems like she almost wants everything that Mon doesn’t want for her.
Mon tells Vel she’s basically being investigated with her bank accounts. That Tay, her friend, tried to help but only uncovered more of how in trouble she was. She found a solution but is cut off when her daughter walks in.
Syril is woken by his mother when the sergeant calls him in the middle of the night to inform him of Cassian’s mother’s passing, in the hopes that Cassian will attend. This is Syril’s chance to capture him and be in Dedra’s good graces, hopefully to be hired by the Empire’s ISB.
Cassian is back on Niamos, and finds his box of credits and his blaster that he left atop the shower in the hotel room from before he was arrested.
Luthen goes to meet Saw Gerrera, and tensions are high as Saw starts to think Luthen is working for the ISB. He suspects this because he doesn’t understand why Luthen knows so much about the ISB and their plans of attack. Luthen tells him that the ISB is waiting for Kreegyr. Saw sees that Luthen is going to let Kreegyr get caught. This raises many flags for Saw. Luthen wants the ISB to capture Kreegyr without telling him and saving him, because he wants the ISB to think the rebellion is sloppy and weak. He’s playing the long game.
Syril steals his mom’s credits and leaves, probably to survey Marva’s home.
Luthen talks to his assisstant, Kleya, and they talk in code about what needs to be done, when he’s intercepted by a massive Imperial star destroyer, this is an original concept design for a ISD ship from colin cantwell who did a ton of the concept art for the original trilogy.
That’s why they called it an arrestor cruiser, cantwell class, after colin cantwell. may he rip.
The Empire uses a tractor beam on Luthen’s ship, he eventually releases some shrapnel and destroys their tractor beam, forcing the tie fighters to hunt him down as we witness how good Luthen is at flying, destroying many of them, and then blasting into hyperspace, to safety.
Cassian calls his old buddy Xan to deliver a message to his mom, and he’s told that Marva has passed.
Cassian is shocked, he ends the transmission and goes out to the shore to meet with Melshi, as they shake hands and go their separate ways. Only to be reunited in Rogue One, where we see Melshi take a lot of risks to Cassian’s orders and we now know why, they have been through a lot together and survived.
Melshi talks about telling people about everything, and I think what’s going to happen now is that prisoners who escaped and survived, will go on to tell the press about everything the empire was doing in the prison. The only thing is, Palpatine controls the press. He controls the news. He controls what goes in or out, and he definitely wouldn’t let that get out.
The episode ends with Cassian looking out to a sunset, which is like the episode that had Marva looking out to a sunset, transitioning to Cassian looking out to a sunset, leaving Ferrix with Luthen in episode 3.

Here’s what actor andy serkis who plays Kino Loy has to say about Kino surviving
"Oh wow, I hadn’t thought of that. I mean, the thing is, yeah, that would be an amazing thing. I don’t know what the future holds for Kino Loy. Who knows? He might be stuck on that ship, or whatever, I don’t know. But let’s see. I haven’t had any discussions yet. But I don’t know, we’ll have to see what everybody thinks of it and the outcome."
now let’s play along and pretend he’s telling the truth when he said he hasn’t had any discussions with tony gilroy about the fate of Kino Loy. If that were the case, then usually in Star Wars, we know anyone can be brought back if we don’t see them die. Oh wait…insert child reva, insert maul, insert reva as adult. So the fact that Kino is just roaming the halls of the ship while the guards are cowering in fear, tells me he has a few minutes to get out of there before he’s arrested. Now if he were to be arrested, I think the empire would either terminate him, or send him somewhere else to another one of these facilities where he won’t break free from. Perhaps one stationed in space.
Now a popular fan theory is that he actually will be punished by the empire and turned into Snoke through experimentation and that’s why Snoke has the same voice as him. Obviously that’s just a funny made up thing that we fans like to create, like all the old snoke theories. And hey, as one last hurrah, I’d love to make another snoke theory video, just for fun.
Thank you for watching today's video. I hope you have a great day, and I'll see you in the next one! May the force be with you, ALWAYS!

Now before we begin we need understand qui-gon a little bit better for those new to the channel and to Star Wars. Qui-Gon was a maverick. He went his own way. He wasn’t on the Jedi council by choice, he knew the decisions he made and his overall view of the force was what made him unfit in the council’s eyes. For example, many fans would argue that qui-gon jinn’s use of the force to manipulate the chance cube with Watto was an act of the dark side, or rather, more in the middle of light and dark, grey some would call it. I always saw it as him balancing the odds since Watto’s chance cube was rigged by Watto himself. Qui-Gon was all about trusting the force, and believing balance was key. This is why he would have literally been the best father figure and teacher to Anakin, preventing his whole downfall.
Now, here’s an excerpt from the book master and apprentice which is canon. It’s a quote from qui-gon jinn to rael aveross who was once Dooku’s apprentice that Qui-Gon grew close with.
"I don't turn toward the light because it means someday I'll 'win' some sort of cosmic game. I turn toward it because it is the light."
This line right here, helps us all see how qui-Gon really thought. That he didn’t use the light side because he felt elitist or like it’s the higher level thinking way of using the force. He uses it because it’s the light, and there is no other option.
While I do think Qui-Gon was growing very weary of the Jedi as time passed, including their poor belief in his reveal of fighting the first Sith Lord in a millennia, I don’t think he would have joined the dark side. Now, that’s not to say he wouldn’t have joined Dooku. Quite the opposite, I believe he would have joined dooku, however I don’t think he would have turned to the dark side. He wouldn’t have turned his back on obi-wan or anakin, I felt he was so deep in the light side that he felt using the force for anything that can be seen as the greater good while killing and causing turmoil against many innocents, would not be the jedi way, and for that reason I feel he would distance himself from his former master. He would for sure agree with Dooku when it came to how the jedi had become corrupt with politics and the dealings of the senate, but actually making decisions and collaborations with a sith lord like darth sidious, and knowing dooku was now darth tyranus, he wouldn’t ever accept such a title or position for himself. I think Qui-Gon’s ability to gauge what is the true meanin of the force and what is just the Jedi council bein brainwashed by politics and the senate, is what made him such an interesting character.
Thank you for watching today's video. I hope you have a great day, and I'll see you in the next one! May the force be with you, ALWAYS!

You can see the inner turmoil within Kino, and as Cassian enters his cell block, he informs all the other inmates of what is really happening at the prison. Kino finally joins in and explains everything in his own words, he’s on board, and believes it’s time to attack tomorrow.
The crew wakes up as they succesffully tick off another day, but this time it doesn’t matter. Kino says to his men he’s assuming he’s already dead. They have nothing to lose and its go time. They get to work as usual, another day at the office.
We head to coruscant where mon mothma and her friend Tay meet with the crooked rich banker Davo Sculdun from chandrilla. We learn that the marriages of chandrillans aren’t set on love between two people, but rather arranged marriages based on a couple’s parents. We now see why Mon Mothma has such a constant disagreement with her husband and why her marriage life is terrible.
Davo basically says he wants no payment for his involvement with her charity, but he has one request. To set up his 14 year old son with her daughter. An arranged marriage, the way of the chandrilans. Mon Mothma is disgusted and tells him he needs to leave. It seems she might be thinking about the offer, but I don’t think that’s the case. She doesn’t seem the type to offer her daughter for a tradition she doesn’t believe in, so that she can fund the rebellion with some slimey rich guy.
As Luthen and his assisstant Kleya speak, we see him fixing something that looks to be similar to padme’s head piece from episode 1 without the fake hair on it. Next to it was a jedi temple guard mask, or what seemed to resemble it from the back.
Kleya tells him there are signs and clues around the city as to someone wanting to have a meeting with Luthen. She thinks it’s a trap and he doesn’t seem to care.
The crew get to work as Kino continues the mantra, one way out, a very powerful line in this episode that moves all the men. There is only one option, and only one way out to survive. The clock is ticking and they must all work together.
As a new inmmate is heading to the work floor, Cassian uses his makeshift shiv to cut the water pipe, hoping to cause a flood that would blow the fuse used to operate the electric floor.
As the new inamte is lowered, Cassian successfully breaks the pipe causing a flood to build, they all nod at one another and they know it’s about to go down. As the prisoner is lowered, a few of the men cause a distraction by faking a fight. Cassian jams the lift with the guard on board and they all begin to attack. It ends with the crew throwing pipes and metal objects at the outnumbered guards, short circuiting the electrical floor when activated due to the water, and then escaping to a higher level, grabbing blasters along the way.
The crew make their way to different levels and make it known a rebellion has begun in the prison. They gather in numbers, get to the main control room on level 8, and take the guards hostage, ordering them to cut power to the entire station which can take months to start up again. They open every door and cell, deactivate all harmful floors and Kino makes a moving speech to the entire facility. Letting them all know that the inmates are in charge now, the guards are outnumbered, and that this place isn’t a jail to serve a sentence, it’s a place to work on what they want built and then to die.
Whatever they’re building, they want kept a secret. I think it has to do with the death star, as if information got out on the death star being built, palpatine would have a lot to answer for. Imagine a planet killer being built in secret. It wouldn’t end well for the Empire. There would be a rebellion like they’ve never seen before, and without the power of the technological terror, Palpatine would be overthrown.

Yaddle tells Dooku that the funeral is to be held on Naboo soon. Dooku says he doubts he’ll be pleasant company and she asks if he holds the council accountable. Dooku turns to look at her and callously says Qui-Gon has become one with the force, it’s time to let him go.
So, from this we know two things. Dooku blames the council for Qui-Gon’s death, but more importantly, him not being there says a lot about what would have happened. Dooku would have probably tried to fight all of them, mainly Mace Windu and Yoda. I don’t think it would have ended well for him against Yoda, but with him tapping into the dark side, I believe he would have stood a fair chance against all the other Jedi. Dooku was always such an underrated Jedi, and I feel this show really helps fans understand why he turned to the dark side.

Dooku, it’s not too late, you can still right all your wrongs, no matter what you’ve done. I fought for Qui-Gon’s position on the return of the Sith, I believe the council has become disillusioned and engulfed with politics. We can make things right, but you must join me to eliminate this Sith. He is the reason your former Padawan is dead.
Dooku stood there, his back to his new master, Sidious hiding in his cloak. He could feel Dooku’s betrayal festering. Dooku turned to his master. Did you order Qui-Gon to be killed?
He ignited his blue lightsaber along with Yaddle’s green one. Sidious extends both of his hands and ignites his two lightsabers much like he did against Maul and Savage Opress during the clone wars.
Dooku moves with Yaddle, the two slowly moving in opposite directions, surrounding Palpatine.
Sidious keeps each arm outstretched towards Dooku and Yaddle. Taking the first lunge, Dooku steps in and fences Sidious, as Yaddle jumps up and tries to slice Palpatine’s head. The Sith Lord blocks both attackers with ease as he laughs.
Twirling like Yoda does when he fights, Yaddle moves with speed and precision akin to the grand master, as Dooku holds his ground against Sidious. His mastery of form 2 Makashi proves itself in this duel against the most powerful being in the galaxy. Palpatine had mastered all 7 lightsaber fighting forms, yet he was not as good of a swordsman as Dooku. Yaddle flipped and jumped as Dooku pushed his attack. Sidious drawing upon the darkness of the force to move with immense speed. Giving credibility to his name, the shadow. It was hard to keep up with him, and yet Yaddle and Dooku knew to control the pace of the fight, keeping Palpatine on his toes at every swing and block, parrying with ease and precision.
Unfortunately, one misstep and Yaddle would be killed, which is eventually what happened the duel. As she moved to Palpatine’s side, he fired Sith lightning at Dooku and knocked him backwards, focusing his attention on Yaddle and destroying her in a few moves. The Sith Lord was far too powerful and experienced. As Dooku saw her fall, he leapt at Sidious and now the battle was uneven for the Jedi Master.
You will soon join your apprentice for your betrayal. Dooku used all of his training and his experience to battle the Sith Lord, finally disarming him, until Palpatine fired both hands full of Sith lightning at him. The lightsabers weren’t enough to deflect the attack, and Dooku became paralyzed with tendrils of electrical waves coursing his body.
As palpatine turned Dooku into ash, he, had the droids remove the evidence. Getting into his ship, he set a course for Naboo, he had a funeral to attend…
The death of qui-gon jinn came as a surprise to all the Jedi, but not Sidious. He knew the might of his former apprentice, Darth Maul, and could still feel his life force. The sheer hatred and anger that Maul polluted the galaxy with in his halved state kept him alive, but also acted as a beacon for those sensitive enough to find him.
A year after meeting young Anakin Skywalker, Palpatine flew to Lotho Minor to retrieve his former apprentice.
He lives… he said, watching as Maul had turned himself into this monstrosity.
Palpatine took him in and reconstructed his body to give him normal legs. Trained him further in the ways of the dark side and punished him for losing to Kenobi.
Maul would go on to take Dooku’s place but with one problem. Maul didn’t believe they needed droids to win the galaxy over, missing the greater picture of Palpatine’s plan. His only motive was the kill all the Jedi.
Reaching out to Maul via holo projector, he ordered his Apprentice, who was stationed above Coruscant in his Scimitar spaceship, that the time had come, to walk into the Jedi Temple, and destroy the Jedi.
Palpatine spoke into his comm-link to all the Clone Commanders…

She was seen in her gown holding the japor snippet that anakin had given her when he was 9 on the ship and we see her as pregnant. It is confirmed in the Revenge of the Sith novel, that Yoda orders her to have a pregnant bump during the ceremony because he doesn't want the empire to think the children are still alive, and for Palpatine and Vader to come looking for what they think is just one child.
Thank you for watching today's video. I hope you have a great day, and I'll see you in the next one! May the force be with you, ALWAYS!

The senate scenes are probably some of my favourite in the show. As we see the senate, thee same one that palpatine and yoda fought in during revenge of the Sith, mon mothma opposes Palpatine’s new safety regulations and we hear someone say long live the emperor. This was a huge plan of Palpatine’s. He had made the entire galaxy hate the Jedi, even going as far as spending the lie that the Jedi killed senators including padme and even tried to kill him when they came to his office.
We see many of the pods turning their lights off, which means they’re not interested and not in favour of mon Mothma’s political views. Mon Mothma has a hard time at the senate and leaves, only to find out that Vel is in town to visit her.
Cassian and the crew learn that level 2 of the prison has an issue. We find out that all the inmates in level 2 have been eliminated. Mon Mothma questions Vel on Luthen and we cut to Cassian as he talks to Kino Loy, the cell supervisor and tries to convince him that the empire isn’t listening to them, and that he needs his help to escape. Loy wants no part of this and turns around, until of course the end when we see he’s ready to work with Cassian.
The inmates realize all the men, over 100 are all terminated. The whole bridge was fried. Loy tells his men to get it together and pretend they know nothing. He does this to save them. He orders them to just treat this as another day, another shift, because if the empire finds out that they know level 2 was all terminated, they feel the knowledge could be used against them and they would be terminated, too. Now of course we know that the Empire has no plans to free any inmate who is serving their sentence, they plan to terminate everyone there. No one is leaving. They’re there to work on the machines which probably build the death star’s laser, and that’s it.
Syril has his 100th box of cereal while his mother annoys him. Ulaf keeps on having a hard time and Mon Mothma has lunch with Vel, while her daughter and husband sit at the other side of the table. Vel leaves and tells her that they’re fighting against the dark, and that they need to continue this rebellion, for the greater good of the galaxy.
Syril simps hard and stalks Dedra outside the ISB, telling her she’s given him hope to live. He comes off as quite neurotic, and pushes for her to hear him out. She gets mad and walks away. I think there’s some romantic tension there, and perhaps the two will develop a relationship, against my liking.
Mothma meets with Tay and informs her that he’s contacted Davo Sculdun, a banker on Chandrila, the same planet where Mon Mothma is from. She refers to him as a thug and it’s clear that some ethical boundaries are going to be crossed on her part if she wants this rebellion to be funded.
Dedra and the ISB discuss how the empire found one of Kreegyr’s men near steer guard. Kreegyr was a contact of Luthen’s who fought for Dooku’s CIS during the clone wars, and saw gerera won’t work with him since he calls him a sep.
Dedra and the ISB plan to make the capture of Kreegyr’s men look like an accidental crash. Proving another point as to how ruthless the empire is to fake a man’s termination in order to get the information they want, and to not scare off Kreegyr.
Cassian and the crew are on deck as Ulaf has a stroke and they all cover for him. This leads them to get a medic to him as he’s dying, and the medic tells him there’s nothing that can be done, so he injects Ulaf into permanent sedation. Loy and Cassian press the doctor on what happened on level 2, and he reveals that one of the guys from level 3 who was supposed to be free after serving his sentence, went back to level 2 and began working again. Word got out what the empire did, and they killed the entire floor. Cassian and Loy learn that no one is here to serve any sentence. They’re here to build and then be exposed of, probably to avoid word getting out of the Death Star being built, for whatever was being constructed in the prison.
Loy answers Cassian finally on how many guards are on each level, responding with, 12, so now we know Loy is on board.
I think this really proves just how dark Palpatine’s empire was, the Death Star was built on dead men.

First let’s discuss Dooku’s powers and abilities, as well as his lightsaber fighting style. These videos are always interesting because they require us to really dive into the users psychology as much as their physical endurance and abilities in the force. Dooku was known as one of the best swordsman in the galaxy. That’s saying a lot. He was trained by non other than Jedi grand Master Yoda, and he was a VERY powerful user of the force. Unlike obi-wan kenobi, who really wasn’t gifted at anything other than his sheer perseverance to be the best he could, and his determination to be the best lightsaber form 3 user there was, Count Dooku was actually super gifted with the force.
Dooku used the second form of lightsaber combat, known as Makashi. Now this form was designed specifically for fighting lightsabers. It was an old school style for an old school guy, when the time came to fighting against droids with blaster weapons, this form wasn’t really encouraged. For this reason, Dooku using this style gave him a severe advantage over his enemies as they weren’t used to fighting anything who used this form, let alone as good as he did. His curved hilt allowed him to be very precise with his attacks, as well as use the hilt’s curve to create immense power on down strokes at the last second. Overwhelming many opponents. While Makashi had it’s weaknesses, such as with blasters, and being a one handed lightsaber form, Dooku was so masterful of it, that these weaknesses turned into strengths for him.
His force powers were just as amazing as his abilities with a lightsaber. While many force users can all do the basics such as push, pull, run fast, and jump high, Dooku was primarily gifted in moving objects with his mind, again, with extreme precision. Just like his fighting form, Dooku took great pride in his telekinetic powers. I would say the power that Dooku was the most proficient in, was Force lightning, while he did come in second place compared to Palpatine himself, Dooku used his Sith lightning to both intimidate, kill, and torture his enemies. In the run of Son of Dathomir, Dooku used lightning to torture Darth Maul, merely toying with the captured Zabrak. Often he would combine his two favourite powers, making someone float in the air, and then frying them with electricity.
Now let’s look at Palpatine’s powers and abilities and then we can properly simulate their battle against one another.
It’s no big news that Palpatine was extremely powerful in the force. He was gifted I would say with the dark side since he was a little boy. His overall affinity to the force was one thing, but it was his sheer rage and bloodlust that made him an unstoppable force. His lightsaber fighting style is something interesting to discuss.
"Despite being highly trained in the art of combat by my master, I rarely used these weapons. I preferred to call upon the infinite power of the dark side to win my battles. Yet when the time came to reveal my true nature, few could survive the fury of my blades."
Palpatine, while having a red Sith lightsaber of his own, in fact, two of them as we saw him use against Darth Maul and savage Opress in the clone wars, wasn’t a fan of using lightsabers. He didn’t care for them. He only used them to mock the Jedi. He went so far with this prank, that he mastered all 7 lightsaber fighting styles just to completely doodoo on any Jedi he would ever come to fight. Like in revenge of the Sith when he fought agen Kolar, saese Tin, Kit Fisto, and Mace Windu. Each of which had different lightsaber fighting forms. He used his knowledge and mastery of all forms to easily destroy his opponents, one to satisfy his ego, and the other to portray how useless and pointless the Jedi were. That the dark side was the only true way to use the force in all of its glory, not the dogmatic narrow usage of the light side that the Jedi favoured.

In Andor episode 7, we had Cassian's flashback of the Clone Troopers during the empire, roughly 2-3 years AFTER Revenge of the Sith, where Anakin Skywalker met his demise as the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar and turned into the suited Darth Vader.
Why are Clone Troopers still around during this time of the Empire? Why aren't there stormtroopers? The answer is because it took time for the Clones to be thrown out, and for the Stormtroopers to take their place.
Palpatine wanted a grand army, he didn't care anymore for the costly use of Clone Troopers. He wanted a new face to the empire, and therefore Stormtroopers were the way to go, but with larger numbers.
Pink Order 66 Hat for charity - swtheory.creator-spring.com/listing/order66-bc
Yularen says that 5x the amount stolen fro Aldahni will be levied on any planet harbouring the rebels, and that any kind of rebel activity will receive the full power of the empire’s fist.
He spoke with Palpatine, who is now fully aware of this insurgence and initial rebellion, he has given the ISB full power and authority to act on this matter and shut down the activists and anyone else who should follow suit. He says no one in this room should have trouble accessing army or navy resources in the future, this means Palpatine has really given them full power to do what they want in bringing down these rebels. So while Palpatine is busy, he is pissed that this has happened.
It looks sloppy, and creates an opening of hope for those willing to do the same.
The emperor will also hold an emergency senate meeting that will basically give the ISB full authority to do as they please in seizing anyone they think might be involved in what just happened on Aldahni.
Luthen listens on his radio and gets intel that the empire is actually freaking out regarding what just happened, and he loves it. Mon Mothma visits him at his shop, and they continue to play dumb as if she’s wanting to purchase more gifts for her husband, and the driver stays outside. They do this because the driver is a hired spy working for the grand vizier, the grand vizier is mas amedda, Palpatine’s right hand man during the prequels and now well into the days the empire.
Mon Mothma can’t believe that Luthen was behind the theft, but he sets her straight and tells her that this was needed.
At 9:01 we can see what looks like the Jedi temple guard’s helmet, however I can’t be too sure with how blurred it is. We do see Plo Koon’s rebreather mask, however, which serves as a rebreather for anyone of the Kel Dor species.
As he walks through the town, he sees from storm troopers and gets a flashback of the clone troopers. How they were marching through the town and having stones thrown at them. Where his father, Clem is trying to stop it, as the clones turn around on orders and aim at him and the others throwing stones. We in another flashback see him hanging there. So the Empire made an example of this type of behaviour, and let the people see it daily. It was very hard to Maarva to see this, and of curse for Cassian to see his father like this. This is post revenge of the Sith obviously and order 66 has controlled their minds. The clones are still here because It must be not too long after revenge of the Sith at this point, and the empire still is using clone troopers before they switch over to a broader, less tactile trained version called imperial stormtroopers.
We see just how militant clones have become, much like in that scene during attack of the clones.
Blevin grills and calls out Dedra publicly at the table where she promises to provide hard evidence and facts regarding her thesis. Partizan promotes Dedra to the case finally and sees her passion for finding these rebels, finally giving her the chance she wanted, and rubbing it in Blevin’s face, which was great. Partagaz mentions ord mantell. Ord Mantell was the home base of the shadow collective which was Darth maul’s gang. There was a massive battle against the CIS, Count Dooku, grievous and palpatine here in the son of dathomir comic run which covered maul’s story right after season 5 of the clone wars where he was captured by palpatine after their epic lightsaber fight with savage oppress and maul vs palpatine.
Andor is on a tropical paradise Miami style calls Niamos, and he seems to have found a girlfriend, who calls him Keef. He’s clearly using a new name to hide from the empire and Luthen…as he grabs some credits out of his secured box. He heads to get some groceries and snacks where he sees some people running away from sand troopers of the empire. He starts to feel a little paranoid and jogs a bit out of there, which gets him taken by the empire as they try to brand him as part of the runners who did whatever has the troopers and K2SO droids after them. He is choked out by a K2 droid, where we see Cassian next in court, where he’s sentenced to 6 years for anti imperial speech. Syril scans his computer hard at work, End of episode.
I think syril will work with cassian and be part of the rebellion soon. I think cassian will meet someone important in jail, leading him to saw Gerrera.
