We continue a discussion on what the Book of Mormon teaches about life after death and specifically the lack of teaching on the "Prison House" the Bible mentions Jesus descending to the spirits in prison. What was the purpose? Was this referencing the book of Enoch? Were the spirits to leave prison? There is a much different plan of salvation taught in revelations that came after the Book of Mormon. It involves charts and graphs and different levels of glories as well as places people are housed until they can be resurrected. Teaching alludes to the ability to possibly repent on the other side of the vail and receive some kind of glory, maybe being with the Father, of maybe "just" the Son or the Holy Spirit. None of this is found in the Book of Mormon.
