Skazka was one of the game entries for Global Game Jam 2019 in Birmingham, UK. The game was produced within 48hrs by the Skazka team, who worked tirelessly to bring the experience to reality!
Skazka is a fairytale that depicts a small child trying to find his way home. Based on this fairytale, the team developed a gameboy game! That's right; this crazy team somehow built an engine to run it, and a game in 48hrs. Madness!
Not only that; but due to the technical limitations of the gameboy, I needed to keep my OST very short, render it at less than 16 bits and also have no more than 4 instruments at once! (The hardware wouldn't handle it!)
Many thanks to you guys for allowing me to be part of the team for this project, I really had fun and learned a lot from the event and from the team. Special thanks to you for the support you showed me when I felt all was lost.
This song was produced using FL Studio 20 (Producer Edition) using a custom set of plugins with GBA compatibilty.
