Originally called Dancing Waters, the traveling show was permanently installed in May 1970 in an area by the former Bonita Tower. The water and light show was updated over the years and eventually became "Fantasy Waters. The version you see here was the final iteration of the show before the fountain was turned off in 2007 and eventually eliminated as part of the Disneyland Hotel Resort remodel in 2010. Club 33, DisneylandEric Chu2017-07-29 | In the early 2000's the Ryman-Carroll Foundation (now Ryman Arts) held special tribute events at Disneyland to raise funds to support its organization. The event consisted of a breakfast at Club 33 followed by three speaking sessions by notable Disney legends. We had the fortunate opportunity to participate in one of these in events in 2001. It would be our first visit to Club 33. The special guests for that day included former Senior Vice President at Walt Disney Imagineering, Maggie Irvine Elliot, Former Vice Chairman and Principal Creative Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering (and Former Ryman Arts President and Founder), Marty Sklar, and first female Imagineer, Harriet Burns. Here are some highlights.
