This walker is animated as an ‘inline biped’ as well as a quadruped, with one set of legs moving out of phase with the other half. The ‘creature’ is walking in place while the ground is moving backward, giving the impression that the walker is moving forward.
A Lego Walker is displayed at the end of the video. That eight-legged ‘creature’ is powered by a 9-volt battery and runs on a Lego Technic Power Functions M-Motor (8883).
