She reminds us that art is universal. There might be 500 words for antelope in the world, but one picture will relay the same message. It precedes the written word.
Where would be if our ancestors said "This is too hard. My clay bowl is crooked. I hate this and I'm not doing it." ????
Creating and making this is an interactive process and nothing is ever perfect the first time out. Even Michelangelo made mistakes!

While the tools are important, it's still how we talk with the customer that is key. Having a high level executive make a phone call to a customer to thank them for their business is a still a excellent way to connect, and get people talking about your brand.
Further discussion about online and offline strategies to create good word of mouth about your brand included how to utilize store receipts. That little piece of paper that everyone gets after the purchase. The panel suggests how Best Buy could do it better. Best Buy gives each customer a negative message to take home with them when they leave the store; a very long receipt which details the laborious process of how to return an item if it breaks. Why not give the customer links to other great items that would go with their purchase?
• What makes a brand talkable?
• How do you make a big brand more talkable by tapping into community?
• How to make a brand more talkable offline?
Jay explains a few tips on how to impress your friends while drinking wine. He does his wine tasting demo using a plastic cup, so the first thing he says is, "Don't be a wine snob. It's okay to drink wine out of a plastic cup!"
1. Tip the wine in the glass slightly to look at the color
2. "Oh, this is a pretty young wine"
3. Carefully swirl the wine a bit, let it run down the inside edges of the glass
4. "This wine has some nice legs"
5. "What a nice color for a 'new world' wine"
6. Close your eyes and smell the wine
7. Say that the wine smells like things that most people aren't familiar with... "Why there is a just a hint of black currants..."
8. Now take a sip, swoosh it around in your mouth very slowly and swallow.
9. Time to list some items that it tastes like, again picking items that most people wouldn't know the taste,... "Tastes like a combination of anise and really expensive shoe leather..."
10. Now, it's finally time to toast and say cheers!
"The way things work today, is that those who do not act quickly with die." Jeffrey makes the point that "Execution is not an event - a onetime push toward achieving goals. Rather, it is a way of life."
How to begin?
1. Identify a hypothesis 9 (a problem and /or opportunity) - review analytics - check for high exit or high bounce on key landing pages and transaction pages (checkout, lead forms etc.) or look for poor Quality Scores in Adwords.
2. Create a to-do list of what you would like to improve
3. Document your hypothesis - why this will be an improvement? What outcome do you expect?
4. Prioritize your to-do list by time, resources a & impact (5x5x5)
5. Start testing now. Do the same next time. (Rincse & Repeat)

Jon starts his presentation talking about the mutant gene FoxP2 that allowed humans to become creatures with language. After language came words and signs and symbols. Writing allowed us to extend ourselves through time and space.
In five minutes Lebkowsky manages to cover everything from the Guttenberg printing press to the internet to wikinomics and google wave.

He talks about one of the most well known tenants of Improv is the principle of "YES! and..."
In addition, improv teaches people to
• Suppress their egos
• Treat everyone like a rock star
• Really listen and then make connections.
By using improv techniques your company can come up with new ideas, solve problems and have more successful brainstorming sessions for growth.
