Reclamation-a song WhisperJack 2025-06-03 | Born of a one night marathon session, & intended to be in the vein of 50's doo-woo instead became this. I left it fairly raw as it was spontaneous and it felt right. An original song using a combination of live instrumentation (bass, piano, percussion, some drums) with the strings, horns, organ, & some drums played on a midi keyboard. All parts played, sung, recorded, arranged and mixed by yours truly. It made me happy so I thought I'd share that.

A Musical Improv of Historic Photos WhisperJack 2025-05-26 | Perhaps against my better judgement I post this ridiculous clip of myself cutting up "freestyling" stream-of-consciousness musical mockery while scrolling through old pictures. It's a mental exercise I sometimes employ to improve the ability to think quickly and create on the fly and its never recorded, but I inadvertently did the other night and upon replay it made me laugh so I post this in hopes it may make you laugh too. It was done in real time and "nearly" unedited due to the fact I did remove one verse for being unnecessarily profane. So take this as seriously as possible and yes I am aware in many ways I am still a child.
