I never thought to rearrange scenes like this before and I know it's not perfect, but it was really fun to visualize and tinker with the different shots.Also let's pretend that every time the lightsaber is red, it means it's Rey's and the hilt just changes sometimes lol.Hopefully you can see what i was trying to achieve, but here’s my attempt at a description anyway: In search of her family and desperate for belonging, Rey finds Palpatine who’s been waiting for her to embrace the dark side and fulfill her destiny as the future empress of the galaxy. She finds that she is connected to Ben through the force and is ordered to find him and end the Jedi.So she tries her best to kill Ben, but she can’t ignore their bond and lets him live. Ben senses her conflict and their shared loneliness and tries to connect with her until Rey eventually gives in and when they touch hands they both see the future that could be.So she brings Ben to Snoke, hoping that he will see the potential she sees and let him live, but Snoke disagrees and calls her a child. It sets her off and she tries to kill Snoke. Her lightsaber falls to Ben’s feet, he kills Snoke and they fight side by side.Ben warns Rey that Palpatine plans to kill her after that, tries to convince Rey to join him and forces her remember the truth which is that Plapatine is the one who killed her parents. But it’s too much for Rey to handle and she tries to fight the truth, to believe Palpatine and accept her role as Empress. She goes to find Ben again and stabs him after he drops his weapon and refuses to fight her. And it’s what ultimately makes her turn to the light because Ben’s love and faith never wavered so she heals him and hope that he’ll forgive her.She throws her lightsaber into the fire and goes to confront Palpatine who admits to killing her parents.Ben senses that Rey has turned and goes to help her defeat Palpatine and destroy the temple.
