The amazing team at Apollon Festival reached out to us to create an artwork for their fabulous event. We are grateful for this opportunity - here's to many more, guys!
Insight is an artwork exploring the theme of duality and the importance of multiple perspectives in understanding the whole truth. The narrative unfolds in an imagined city divided into two complementary parts—green and purple—symbolizing opposing views. As we journey through the city, we gain insight into the lives of its residents, observing how these two sides communicate and connect. The climax reveals two individuals from opposite sides sharing their thoughts through 3D shapes, which only achieve wholeness when combined. The merging of complementary colors into white and the transformation of the 3D shapes into a 4D shape symbolize unity and completeness. The industrial dystopian style of the artwork is a direct reflection of its setting, reinforcing the idea that true understanding comes from integrating diverse perspectives.

Recently, we had the privilege of creating a new version of the Entropy experience for the Zsolnay Light Festival. The task was to transform the central space of a shopping mall, and we eagerly accepted the challenge.
We installed a monumental 100-square-meter LED wall with a resolution of 6800x1700 pixels to deliver the Entropy immersive experience to visitors. The installation drew large crowds both day and night, thanks to the exceptional brightness of the LED panels. This captivating light art installation, with its incredibly bright display, is not only easily portable and quick to set up, but can also be adapted to virtually any space. It offers a turnkey solution for an immersive experience, complete with technical support—a straightforward way to elevate any environment.

The Carousel is a light art installation created by Viktor Vicsek inside the dry mill in Szentendre, at the invitation of Kandela Festival. The installation aims to explore and reinterpret the architectural and mechanical complexity of the mill, as well as its historical memories, in a visual and sensual way. The main goal of the project is for visitors to connect with the old operation, memories, and hidden stories of the mill through the play of light, sound, and shadow.

This year, Entropy was one of the artworks selected for Festival Sous Dôme in Paris, France. 36 degrees, Jeremy Oury, and the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie presented the new edition of "Sous Dôme", the first Parisian event dedicated to digital creation for domes between March 22 and 24.
Films, performances, masterclasses, workshops, round tables, and shows awaited the audience throughout the weekend.
Our relationship with technology, the links we forge with nature, with the universe, as well as with popular and media culture, were among the subjects explored in the selection of 36 degrees and Jeremy Oury.

Entropy is an immersive 3D artwork exploring the scientific theory of the origin of life. This piece of art is rooted in science and leverages cutting-edge technology to provide the audience with a unique and unparalleled experience, unlike anything they’ve encountered before.
A space that you want to turn into an experience, a building facade that you want to bring to life, an event that needs an interactive and exciting addition that makes it possible for visitors to connect with nature – or all at once: Entropy is here to fulfill all your light art dreams. An open-end, adaptable, and immersive visual world of beauty and adventure that makes your visitors go wow.
The Artistic Concept
Immerse with us in the formation of complex life forms, observe how energy flows, travels through systems leading up to life itself, and takes on different forms at each stage. In the pursuit of balance, order creates disorder, and differences in energy create chemical reactions from which life is born. As we progress through the layers of existence, you can see how the forms of beings become more and more complex and bustling and witness the wonder of life unfolding before your very eyes. Empty and dry spaces come to life with an abundant and rampant outflow of nature. Enter this space bustling with radiance, pulsating energy, and ever-changing currents, and be a part of life.
The Experience
Entropy is a brand-new immersive experience that guides you through the development of life in the span of several millions of years. It’s relaxing and mind-blowingly beautiful, an adventure where you and your audience can connect with nature and follow the life cycle of organisms: birth, growth, maturity, decline, and death into rebirth.
Entropy is a journey-like experience of how the flow of energy inevitably creates life and introduces complexity. It allows for an openness of the audience towards a deeper understanding through its simple vision of nature’s life cycle, something that we are all drawn to. It touches our senses and emotions without being too complex to understand both scientifically and as an art piece.
How Does it Work?
Entropy is an easy-to-adapt visual world that you can use for your event, immersive room, AR experience, building facade at a light festival, botanical garden, or basically any surface or space you would like to use to attract a wide audience. Our team of experienced artists and motion designers can customize and tailor this amazing piece to your needs.

We shape our spaces / Our spaces shape us
“[…] the relationship between man and the cultural dimension is one in which both man and his environment participate in molding each other… [such that] in creating this world he is actually determining what kind of an organism he will be [emphasis in the original].”
[Edward T. Hall, The Hidden Dimension, p 4.]

Viktor Vicsek’s generative audiovisual projection connects the elastic and flexible nature of kinetic architecture with the concept of the immateriality of light. By using the tools of reflection, virtuality and symmetry, he presents fictive spaces in constant transformation, the structures of which, composed of point-like elements, interpret the illusionism of the sotto in sù and quadratura techniques of Baroque ceiling frescoes, which dramatize the corporeal presence of the spectacle, into a 21st century medium.
