J. Cole's The Fall-Off Tour was hit by tragedy after a member of his touring crew died in a semi-truck crash while transporting equipment to the Sacramento stop.
The truck was traveling from Seattle toward Sacramento when it overturned on Interstate 5 in Yolo County near Woodland, California, shortly after 6 AM on August 27. The driver and touring crew member was later identified as 66-year-old Jarlath "Chip" Parkinson.
Following the tragedy, J. Cole's scheduled performance at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento was canceled and refunds were announced for ticket holders.
