My version of Alexandre Desplat's "Lily's Lulluby" from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I did this one in about 2 hours so it's certainly the quickest I've done. The Forging of the Sword WROrchestra 2011-06-17 | Another new composition from the Darkweaver Legacy by Mark Robson, this one is done for Famfoxa - hope the film's coming along nicely! Calvyn wants a sword of his own design and he decides to incorporate some magic into its construction. This video is based on the scene of the sword being forged (hence the name). It starts very, very quietly and builds gently.

The son of a nobleman, Bek show a great prowess with a sword, a skill that will not only save many in battle, but in the challenges that he is to face. ps. Baron Keevans Army Arrives WROrchestra 2011-04-11 | Another Composition from the Darkweaver Legacy by Mark Robson Baron Keevan marches his army from his castle in the north of Thrandor, across the country to the capital city of Mantor. His troops approach the city through the woods along the northern ridge. As they get close, they hear the sounds of battle. Keevan has his troops line up and emerge from the treeline to face the invading Terachite Hoards.
Jennas Dream WROrchestra 2011-03-30 | This is another composition from the Darkweaver Legacy by Mark Robson. Jenna has unusually vivid and compelling dreams while in the service of Baron Keevan. The Dreams are always the same, flying from the Baron's Castle to the Vortaff mountains and always ending at the same stone on one of the peaks. Overlaid is a voice, a voice she doesn't know but she cannot help but listen.

Tempus Desisto WROrchestra 2011-01-20 | Another Darkweaver composition, from the 1st book - The Forging of the Sword. Calvyn and Perdimonn go to a market. Whilst there, Calvyn finds some books printed in the forbidden language of magic (though at the time he doesn't know for certain). While looking through the books, Selkor, a powerful Shandese Magician, appears through the crowd to try and gain access to Perdimonn's greatest secret. Perdimonn arrives and puts a spanner in Selkor's plan by making time stand still, something that Selkor believes is impossible. I have used Calvyn's theme in the beginning to bring his innocent exploration of the market, slowing to a deep male choir for Selkor's arrival. When Perdimonn arrives I switch to a higher female choir and bring in a simple version of Perdimonn's theme with some off key bars to bring the feeling of something not being right with the world. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Lessons in Magic WROrchestra 2010-12-09 | Another composition from the Darkweaver Legacy Calvyn is sent to Terilla, a small city on the southern border of Shandar. There, he is to deliver a message to the Council of Magicians. He finds them in the School of Magic where, after delivering his message, he is inducted as a student. This piece is set in one of the lessons where he excels and infact, amazes the teachers he is studying under - all due to Perdimonn's unique way of teaching, his approach to magic and to Calvyn's own raw talent.
Campsite Farewell WROrchestra 2010-12-09 | Another composition from the Darkweaver Legacy Following an encounter with Selkor, the Shandese Magician, in a Marketplace in northern Thrandor, Perdimonn decides that he and Calvyn must part company. This decision puts Calvyn on his path to the service of Baron Keevan and his first step to becoming a solider.
At the Wizards Tower WROrchestra 2010-10-24 | This is another composition from the Darkweaver Legacy books Jenna has to put all of her military training to use when Perdimonn sends her on a quest. She has to hunt down and kill a Gorvath, a demon that was summoned to their world to consume Calvyn's soul - Long story! Jenna eventually tracks the creature to the Great Western Forest, which runs from the North of Shandar to the South of Thrandor. The creature has made it's way to the Wizard's Tower (wizardry being the arcaic art that can summon demons) and Jenna must kill the Gorvath before it decides to return to the Demon Realm. Aided by Gedd, a Shandese Demon Hunter, they track the demon to the tower and attempt to kill it. This composition is for the last few minutes of her hunt - the final confruntation with the most dangerous demon known to exist.

Magicians in the Rain WROrchestra 2010-10-15 | This is another composition from the Darkweaver Legacy books Calvyn and Jenna are travelling from Terilla (in Southern Shandar) to Mantor, capital city of Thrandor. They are accompanying the Magicians of the Grand Council. On one night of their travels, whilst camping near the mountains, a fierce storm blows in. Calvyn, awoken by the lightning, immediately falls back on his military training and tries to get the horses to shelter and secure the tents more firmly. During his efforts, Magician Lomand (who also travels with them) emerges from the tent with Grand Magician Akhdar to find out what's happening. They both tell Calvyn his efforts are a waste of time and ask Calvyn to fetch the horses back. With Lomand's help they soon have the horses back in camp. At this point Grand Magician Akhdar produces the Staff of Dantillus. An ancient relic used for focusing magical spells and increasing their power. He channels a spell to protect them from the elements through the staff and a bubble of shimmering green forms around their camp. The shield spell attracts the lightning which bounces harmlessly off the protective dome. Akhdar just gives Calvyn a little smile and wanders back into the tent to sleep. This piece goes with that scene - a favourite of mine in the books!
