MIchael SpeeThis is a four bin feeder I built for our horse. It uses a Rainbird sprinker timer with four relays and 4 120v solenoids. It can feed hay, grain, oats, or whatever else you can squeeze into the bins.

This is the digital version of the variable intensity brake light. It uses a custom made circuit board for the lights as well as the controller. The controller uses an Ardweeny which is a miniture Arduino with and accerameter. The controller compares a moving average of ten to a saved max moving avererage to determine how many lights to turn on. The system also customizes the max moving average based on vehicle driving habits. I apoligize for the poor video quality while I was driving!Tweeting Garage Door using ArduinoMIchael Spee2012-02-28 | This little box gets mounted next to the garage door. When the door goes up and down it flips a reed switch. The switch triggers an RF key fob that connected to a reciever in my basement. This is inputed into an arduino with an ethernet card. The arduino then posts on Twitter if the garage door is open or closed. Unfortunatly since switching to ATT internet it no longer works with the modem.Variable Intensity Brake Light ****PATENT PENDING****MIchael Spee2012-02-28 | ****PATENT PENDING****
Here is my first prototype of the variable intensity brake light. It uses a cheap accelerameter to measure the braking force. It then uses resistors and capacitors to filter the results and divide them between the lights. It worked ok but jitter and hand tuning caused me to make a second version which is digital. I have the 2nd version on my truck and it works great. I will post a video of that one soon,Arduino TurtleMIchael Spee2012-02-28 | This was my sons night light turtle I modified with an Ardweeny. It originally just projected single colors on the ceiling but now it does light shows with multiple colors.Arduino LitterboxMIchael Spee2012-02-28 | Arduino controlled litter box to help control odor.
