The next segment is Kankakee taking the lead with a few seconds to go. Parkland attempted to win it at the buzzer but missed. What a thrilling evening though despite the loss. The quality isn't too bad for a phone, just need to figure out a better audio solution for being that far away from the microphone.

I missed all the tornadoes and large hail that everyone else got, but still an interesting chase. I tried following one tornadic storm near Perry, OK but the roads turned into mud real quick so I couldn't keep up. Not bad for leaving Illinois earlier in the morning and making it out to Oklahoma later that afternoon. 1300 mile round trip, whew!

Video was taken about 3 miles away from the fireworks site. This is the last 4.5 minutes of the show. Camera: Canon HV20 on Fireworks mode. Audio: Rode Shotgun microphone. The odd thing is that I could barely hear the fireworks in person as I had the radio cranked up for the music. However on the video, you hear the fireworks much louder than the music. (shotgun microphone working well!)
