Especially if suicide and self harm trigger you.Just a little vent about trying to be happy, but getting tired of having to put up a smile in order for people to like you and enjoy being around. It gets to the point where it's mentally and physically exhausting. I'm scared to be what I want to be; myself. I want to be able to love myself like so many others, but I can't do that when I can't accept who I am. I'm tired of being fake, I'm tired of forcing a smile or a laugh when I don't want to... It only makes me feel even more fake. There are really only two people I can enjoy myself around, and even then I'm still scared to mess it up. I'm glad I have those two people though, I think they really make life worth living. Even if everybody else sees you as a piece of crap... Even if everybody tells you that you're nothing, you're not important, you aren't special, you aren't wanted... But it's all good, because in a few months and years of laughing at the pain, it can eventually become something you can genuinely find funny. It's really not that big of a deal. PICK A FLOWER || MEME (WARNING: VIOLENCE, ABUSE) Beastybox 2020-04-28 | The main character in this video is a boy that likes to go by Socks (yes he is a boy). He is extremely sweet and loving, but he hasn't had the best childhood. His parents are abusive and neglectful, his father being the more violent one. He has a large family, all of which are troubled mentally. Because of his past he isn't the most intelligent and is extremely emotional. In the beginning of the video you can see Socks' sister commit suicide in front of him, she simply couldn't stand to live in that household any longer. All of the children are constantly abused daily, Socks' typically being the main target. He wasn't strong like the others, nor was he too young to manipulate. In this video Socks is 6 years old. Everybody in the household is either extremely violent, depressed, or terrified; there is no happiness or standing up for one another. Almost everybody in the house is addicted to drugs, the parents are to blame. Socks didn't know how to handle these emotions, so he tried to heal himself with the numbing or exciting sensation drugs gave him. His father has Socks as his "favorite child," Despite despising all of the children. However, this wasn't in a loving father way. More as Socks being his favorite toy or object. Near the end of the video you can see a drawing of Socks' family that he made, but two people are crossed out. That is is sister and brother. The sister died earlier in the video from suicide, and the brother died from a drug deal gone wrong; but Socks is to "blame" for this incident. In the end you can see Socks' putting some pills into some alcoholic beverages. Socks decided that enough was enough and that he was going to take matters into his own hands. What he didn't know about was dosage and overdose. All he knew is that the pills could put someone to sleep for a while; meaning he could go sneak out of the house. Because of the alcohol and dosage of pills, the mother passed away. The father however lived, but was soon sent to jail. Despite his hard past and painful relationship with his father, he still loves him deeply and visits him in jail every now and then.
