The other day, I finally got around to the 3.2 Archon Quest and Nahida's quote (and this whole scene with Rukkhadevata) hit me hard because its something I've been struggling with for the past few years and finally found the strength to attempt overcoming recently. My inferior complex. My constant fear of being left behind because I'm not good enough. An awful friend. Not dependable. Easily jealous. Constantly comparing myself to others. Needing to be the "go-to" person. I hate this damn complex- I hate the person who made me like this (but he's dead and I'm left with scars I thought I had healed long ago).

I know I may never fully put this damn complex behind me but my goal is have the ability to not let it affect my life or relationships with friends as much as it has in the past ¤tly. I just want to be somebody I'm proud of so thank you @hiraeth. for listening to all my shitty thoughts, my fears and doubts, but mostly for being a pillar of motivation thru your own struggles.

idk how to even start this tbh
a few friends have already seen my tweet about being so mentally and emotionally exhausted and maybe its stupid. maybe no one will understand and maybe someone will- I don't want my birthday to come. I don't want to turn 30 because I feel like when it happens: I've failed myself. Failed to become the person I always thought I'd be by the time I reached this age. Lately I've been angry/emotional/exhausted with everything and everyone- I did take time for myself to admit why I've been feeling this way and its helped. This song is actually in my playlist for when I'm struggling- Anson Seabra's music is such a comfort for me.

tbh this is the first edit that just flowed- usually when I want to vent out these shitty feelings: I can't find the right scenes that convey what I'm feeling. I also tend to push people away and even after I've reconnected: I still feel isolated so I guess this edit was my way to let go of this feeling of being a failure and a reminder that I have a support system. I have friends I can ask for help from.

CsillaLoli 2022-01-25 | So this year, I'm disabling comments on my edits- I have a lot going on in my life and honestly there's so much I'd like to try before I no longer have the free time I currently do~ but then again, maybe the lack of free-time may keep me inspired. I have so many songs I'd like to do, media that I never got the chance to work with in the decade plus that I've been a MV editor, and video styles I never had the courage to attempt outside a few recent meps.

I watched someone very close to me disable their comments so I'm hoping that by doing this, it'll give me the same confidence it gave her. This girl is someone I strongly look up to, even though I'm older, because of her strength to keep moving and I know that by saying that: she's getting all emotional. I'm beyond grateful for everything we have in our friendship/sisterhood.

Now onto the edit itself: Look at me showing how old I really fucking am! God, I love this movie so fucking much!! Their on-screen quirkiness is just so cute and this movie, imo, as age as well as... well me~ ;p

It made getting out of bed a chore but after starting Kaitou Saint Tail and Yowamushi Pedal for my MAL anime watching challenge: I started feeling a little better- I blame the KaiShin vibes that this anime gives me!!! owo

I'm still not over my bad news and I know it'll depress me again when either more bad news comes or December when I have to face the second set of crappy news I got a week ago. At the moment, I'm still scared to talk about it because for the VERY few (there's only 2 of you) that know understand that I'm very terrified of things not working out.

Anyways, I really recommend this anime to anyone who either loves KaiShin, cute adorable ships, kamikaze kaitou jeanne, or all of the above. I'm really enjoying this anime and I'm hyped to watch the rest of it!!! Info is at the end.

I had always plan to read the manga but after watching the first episode, I literally started reading it &so cute!! I'm gonna read more between episodes~ owo

This show really related to me hard because I always had 'another' side of me that I kept hidden to avoid being hurt more so than I already was; whether it was from losing long-term friends, emotional abuse, or the weight of always needing to be "the strong one"... I pushed down a lot of shit throughout the years and it has led me to distance myself from friends and people who care simply because I had a moment of doubt that spiraled out of control. I quit pretty much all the studios I was in and stepped away from the one I led- the one place that was meant to be a safe place away from the stress that editing can bring.

I've had a lot of people ask me over these past months about how I'm doing and I'm grateful for those messages because its a lovely reminder of how wrong my depression is. Although at the same time, I still can't give an answer I can fully stand behind... I don't know who I am anymore. I feel so lost because I knew exactly who I was years ago but I can't find the spark I used to have towards the things I love. I used to love writing and I've hardly written anything since 2016 and it kills me on the inside.

I want 2021 to be a new beginning, not just for me but for everyone who struggled to make it through 2020 (because I sure as fuck did)

What's the point of living? Why am I even alive?

I don't ask this because I want to end my life, not one bit! I wonder this because I don't know what makes me happy... I have moments that I feel the sparks of joy but its short-lived. I just feel so alone despite knowing logically that I'm not. I know that there are other people like me who are suffering like this or worse but I can't seem to convince myself. There's still that darkness that creeps into my mind and its getting harder and harder to argue with it. I know people may chalk it up to deployment blues but it isn't- these are thoughts that have been on my mind for almost a year and have only gotten worse in the last few weeks.

I started therapy back in April and something my therapist said in our FIRST meeting has recently clicked for me: I live a very depressing life.
