Making Daisies Using Texture Paste! With Acrylic Painted Background. Inspired By @VanousheArt (166) Darnell Shoemaker 2025-09-28 | Making daisies Using texture paste! So today I outlined daisies with texture paste, then I painted it all with acrylic paints. This was so much fun, I will definitely be doing this again!! I first cut out the design on my Cricut then traced around it and removed the vinyl. Next I mixed up some texture paste and used the guide to outline the design. I used an icing pen which worked out amazing! A lot better control. Then I painted in the design! I love how it came out. It definitely was a trial an error project but the outcome was amazing! So today I tried something different using hot glue and modeling paste. I first cut out the design on my Cricut then traced around it and removed the vinyl. I started off using the hot glue to go around the design but switched over to the modeling paste mixture, even using a icing pen which worked amazing! A lot better control. Then I painted in the design! I love how it came out. It definitely was a trial an error project but the outcome was amazing! Acrylic Pouring/ Fluid Art So I tried using interference paints on a bottle bottom pour and it came out amazing! I knew that I would have to use black under every color in order to make the paints work, so I did, but I was afraid that it would make the painting too dark. It didn't! The colors are bright and beautiful! I mixed my paints with a touch of Gel Medium and then added 3 parts Floetrol. Will Interference Paints Work On A Bottle Bottom Pour? I Tried It! Fluid Art/Acrylic Pouring (134) Darnell Shoemaker 2023-12-20 | Interference Paints on a Bottle Bottom Pour! Acrylic Pouring/ Fluid Art So I tried using interference paints on a bottle bottom pour and it came out amazing! I knew that I would have to use black under every color in order to make the paints work, so I did, but I was afraid that it would make the painting too dark. It didn't! The colors are bright and beautiful! I mixed my paints with a touch of gel medium and then added 3 parts Floetrol. I left out the Pearl medium :) Thank you for watching!
