I don't really feel like adding any of my own commentary. It's obviously very timely. I guess I would only add that we should keep in mind that the reality of "media" that Schaeffer was describing then is a little different, worse of course, today because of "social media." Which could more accurately be called "targeted media" due to the ability of very targeted audiences receiving very specific information through sharing and algorithmic programming. You know, that whole panopticon, echo-chamber, confirmation bias, feedback loop thing...sadly makes the truth even easier to obscure and emotions easier to inflame.
The Compendium Chronicles NEARER PREFECT 2020-04-09 | I made a series of videos three years ago reproving three prominent "Creation Science and/or Apologetic Ministries" regarding their disingenuous and hypocritical dismissal of Biblical Cosmology. The vids are thematically related and still hold up well enough today so i bundled them together in one vid for a re-up. And I gave it a snazzy name...(its a bit of an inside joke.) It just makes a light of certain ministries who are always putting out series of books or selling series of lecture vids and giving them flashy, grandiose titles. Compendium Chronicles was the best of the sort I could ever come up with.

This was one such exchange. This "conversation" spanned over the length of about a couple days. I think there is much to learn from this person, but not only from what they say...but actually more from HOW they say it. I think we can gain insights on how to talk to people like this, and how to pray for them, by just going over all their comments at once. I can also reflect on my responses. I can see my sin, and ask Jesus to forgive me and correct me. Anyway, t am at least doing this once. I honestly dont know if I would do another. I just felt a strong urge to put this one together after the exchange had come to an end. I put time, and thought, and prayer into my exchange with this person...I might as well do something positive with it.
