Gordon The Big Engine - Sudrian Sounds Sodor’s No.1 2020-12-05 | This instalment of the Sudrian Sounds series consists of my recreation of Gordon’s theme from Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends. This one is a little different to my usual compositions, being more synthesiser-heavy , though still retaining some natural sounding instruments, giving it an early 80s style pop-rock style. The Skarloey Railway - Sudrian Sounds Sodor’s No.1 2020-05-27 | This instalment of the ‘Sudrian Sounds’ series is a recreation of the narrow gauge railway’s theme music from Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. This time, the music is emulating that of an indie rock/pop band, as opposed to an orchestral reimagining as most would do. Let me know in the comments if you can work out who the band is. Thomas’ Triumphant Theme? - Sudrian Experimental Sounds Sodor’s No.1 2020-05-23 | There are two trains of thought (no pun intended!) that I have when it comes to my usual ‘Sudrian Sounds’ themes; to try to rearrange theme music from Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends with conventional instruments that can be found in conventional bands/ensembles to sound like it could be played by real human beings, or to build on the original themes with slightly more real sounding instruments.This however doesn’t really fit in with either of those ideas. This is a re-imagining of the theme at the end of ‘Thomas And The Breakdown Train’, but in an electronic synthesiser-heavy way.
