So after only two months I have swapped the Kenwood TS-2000 out for a ICOM IC-7100.

Not sure if this is a mistake or not, the Kenwood is a dual transceiver and well its a Kenwood :) but the ICOM has got a smaller foot print and is just as capable, although is is only a single VFO and has a lower output power on 2M and 70cm (I think) but the display is bigger and for my eyes easier to read... was it a mistake? time will tell.

Hey why not look it up and see for yourself I'm not an expert on these matters just a guy that is giving it a go and sharing my experiences.

Hope you enjoy...

Just for fun

P.S. do not take my word for it, give it a go for yourself.
