LEGO formally released their Trains brand in 1966. A full 40 years later, a little FlyingScott would receive his first LEGO trains - which would promptly be his last!
And, as a return to the hobby, starting from absolute ground 0, I purchased LEGO City set 60198, the Cargo Train. Does it live up to the fairly high LEGO expectations? And can one even review a LEGO train the same way one can review a model train?

This video has, once again, been quite a journey for me. I started work on it in October 2025, animated almost all of the footage in November, and then let it sit for 7 months. Indeed it was not until July 2026 that I continued working on it. There is no excuse, I was in a deep creative slum and only found the will to animate again in May of the same year.
