Hey Guys! Welcome back to another episode of Missflips! In today’s episode, I am going to be making over this barrister cabinet I found on Facebook marketplace. Now before you go and get mad that I painted it, keep in mind that it is not solid wood and if it were, I most likely would have just restored it. However, this video is going to be touching on the topic of Creative Blocks.
They happen to everyone. No matter how small or big your business is, whether you just do it for yourself or you do it for clients. Creative blocks happen. In my opinion, the best way to get over them is to trust the process, be patient with yourself and just start. You can restart as many times as you need to until you are happy with it, but just do something. Put brush to canvas.
I am very fortunate to have the support group of so many furniture creators at my disposal and cannot stress how valuable a group like that can be in times like this. If you don’t have one, reach out to me! I’d be happy to give my thoughts and share my experience with you.
