There is a large segment of the population that doesn't realize item duping is happening on a widespread scale, or that it is the major reason the multiplayer experience is being killed on the PU this patch. Item duping is why you just don't see as many players in the 'verse, especially running the (constant) special events. With unlimited UEC generated via duping, there is no reason for those players to run any sort of money-making activity and are therefore not out in space. There is no reason for them to risk it to farm items like railguns, because they have infinite already. Why people are duping - not the duping itself - should be a warning to CIG.
In this video, I am going to expose and talk about item duping and what it means for Star Citizen 3.19 and beyond. As I say in the video, I don't believe anyone should be punished for doing it. But why is it happening, and what does it say about the current state of Star Citizen? I take a deep dive here on the subject, and I'd love to hear your thoughts.
