Last year I got the Platinum for MindsEye on PS5 and while it was definitely a less than savory experience, I still enjoyed it! A perfectly fine 5/10 mediocre game. Perhaps it is considered more on the 'bad' side. But also, what's wrong with that? The games industry has changed a lot in the last decade. You could play the best of the best and never run out of stuff to play. So when (if ever) is there room to play these bad games? So many games used to get that opportunity to redeem themselves with sequels. But with risk averse publishers and online narratives, these bad games have little to no chance. But I'm here to make a case that sometimes, you can find some value in this problematic experiences. Basically what I'm saying is that I'm a MindsEye enjoyer now. So go ahead with the allegations, they're right.
