Unicorn Tolerance | OC Animatic ocellifera 2020-12-21 | you know someone's unhinged when they walk into a lake shoes onmore mink content! i love this boy. this explores the worse parts of his backstory. it shows the parts of him that crumbled under the pressure of a system that never worked for him. mink will be forever hurt and confused as to why his father's guidance worked so well for the others he was raised with, but not for him. usually he doesn't lose an eye to this, but this was a special treat for this particular animatic. the context for this is that he gets into a fight with another teen and mink sort of... snaps. of course, the teen is more concerned than anything else and runs for help. we see his father and sister coming to see what's happened-- his father of course horrified. this marks the end of mink's participation in the unique society his father's tried to build. mink, older by the end of it, takes a moment to try to remember what he liked about it all in the first place... only to have the moment soured by his own terrible feelings about the whole thing.any excuse to use a mountain goats song i will haaappily take! i've been listening to the goths album on repeat lately. this took a little over a week. boarded in storyboard pro. thumbnail polished in clip studio.
Bones Like Bare Roots | Skye Boat Song | OC PMV ocellifera 2020-06-20 | Happy one year anniversary to my extremely non-traditional, super weird Warrior Cats roleplay!One year ago I started a roleplay based on the idea of founding a clan-like structure called a court. The beginning was rough, lots of fighting and scrapping and disagreement on how it should be run. Now, one entire human year later, we have a fully developed government system and cats are working on discovering things like fire and agriculture. This is meant to be an opening sequence of sorts, as if it were the intro to a sick BLBR show. Spades, the odd cat who called most everyone to come and build the court, reminisces on herself and the friends she's made while moving through Court lands and into The Bright Realms. I tried to include at least one character for each member. I did this... in exactly a week's time.There are a few locations and NPCs here who haven't been seen in public roleplay, so they may not appear familiar to even those involved! But I thought I should loosen my purse a bit on my secrets for the sake of adding some intrigue. To those of you who play in BLBR-- thank you for being here. Billy The Kid - Scourge MAP | PART 10 | STORYBOARD ocellifera 2020-04-19 | what a FUN one! let me know which version is your favorite. #4 is the final and will be passed on to some other buddies. here were my loose notes for these. these are more concepts than... an actual board (though i do have a board i cleaned up to pass to my collab partners) thats Okay.1. approach at distance Intense Glares2. simple zoom in as they get closer, same shot throughout (chopped up as to not get caught up in camera work/canvas sizes for me here but would be smooth in a final)3. fun eye slices as they bob with Walking Movement4. was sort of thinking like those... at the hip quickdraw type shots. scourge with his Big Fuck Off Claws, firebaby unsheathing his own claws by the end of it as they move forward5. more of a like... mouth down sort of movement shot, i liked this for the sake of showing scourges sick sick collar and maybe firestar bracing himself and gritting his teeth as he gets ready to leap into actionlong time since i've uploaded to this channel! i'd like to do more of that now that summers coming on and i've got more energy. i've got a critical role project in the works that's really time consuming... but for now little scraps like this will do.
