Are Sundays still the secret to getting loads done at Blackpool Pleasure Beach?
I’ve visited the park many times on a Sunday and usually managed an incredible number of rides with very little waiting. But with the summer holidays approaching, school trips in full swing and the park getting busier, I wanted to find out if the quiet Sundays are finally over.
Rather than rushing around like an enthusiast trying to maximise every minute, I decided to experience the park like a regular guest. If I saw a ride with a short queue, I’d ride it. If I fancied lunch, I’d stop for lunch. No strategy. No running around. Just a relaxed day at the Pleasure Beach.
Along the way I tackle classics like Icon, Big Dipper, Revolution, Avalanche, Wallace & Gromit, Ghost Train, Steeplechase and, of course, finish the day on Aviktas.
So, are Sundays still the best day to visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach? Let’s find out.
