Well suited to confined space working it offers vertical horizontal or angled drilling, all with guaranteed core retention. Set-up is quick and easy A single anchor is inserted in the centre of the cored area - no offset measuring is required. With the guide post tightened in position, add the core bit, with its pre-fitted hex drive. Then engage the motor and gearbox assembly with the hex drive, completing the installation with the Drill Feed Tube Connect and adjust the water supply and you’re ready to drill The operator controls the drilling rate by the speed at which they rotate the feed handle. If they attempt to drill too quickly or meet unexpected resistance, the safety clutch will disengage the motor. When drilling is complete, the feed handle is reversed to its starting position, at which point the core is released Whether drilling horizontally vertically or at an angle, the core is always retained by the system The precise alignment achieved by on-axis drilling is evidenced by the absence of wear on the core bit and explains the relatively low power required by the system. The compact nature of the Core EZe system permits it to operate in spaces inaccessible to traditional drill rigs. The use of a shortened feed tube allows drilling from within this 600 mm sewer box, without compromising the ability to drill deep. With only a single anchor point required to support the complete system, CoreEZe can be used in situations unsuited to traditional drill rigs with the added security of the core always remaining attached to the Guide Post. Substituting the mains grinder with a battery-powered equivalent presents the opportunity for 100% off-grid drilling. In testing, a 125 mm core was removed from a 200 mm wall, using a twin-battery grinder. And like its predecessors, the on-axis Core EZe will drill smoothly and accurately on curved surfaces. Compact, accurate and efficient, the Core EZe presents new possibilities for low-cost, low impact Core DrillingSV50 Cyclonic Interceptor and Pre-SeparatorSunrise Tools & Equipment2018-02-12 | Using an Interceptor or Pre-Separator in conjunction with a dust extractor or 'vacuum' will guarantee peak suction and airflow for longer, fewer interruptions for filter cleaning and reduced expenditure on filter bags You can buy the item here: sunrisetools.co.uk/dust-control/dust-extractors/sv50-range/sv50i.htmlUser Guide for Sunrise Tools Brick Raking and Pointing PackageSunrise Tools & Equipment2017-12-11 | The dust-free brick raking boxed kit comprises a 125 mm grinder, a custom dust extraction cowl, a diamond blade, some special tools and safety equipment. The equipment is configured for up-cutting. The stainless steel skid is depth adjustable so you can set and forget your raking depth. You can set the angle of the dust guard to suit your preference by loosening the pinch bolt, rotating the cowl and re-tightening. Used properly the equipment will allow you to rake brick joints dust free, making the task safer, cleaner and less disruptive to people nearby. For maximum dust control, rest the leading edge on the surface, start the grinder, then lower the blade to full depth and lead with the upturned front edge. Plunging the blade into the cut is not as clean. Trying to work backwards is dusty and not very controllable. Always try to rake the joint in a single pass using the correct width blade. SV50 is an M Class Dust Extractor. It has a strong polyethylene body mounted on a steel chassis, a removable suction motor with a low airflow warning light, a large Teflon-coated cartridge filter which can be cleaned without being removed and a bagging facility for the waste which when used as instructed will result in zero spillage. SV50 Filter Cleaning in situ is quick and easy. Remove the suction hose and replace with the stepped blanking plug. Then run the motor. Wait five seconds, then remove and replace the t-handled blanking plug. Wait five seconds and then repeat the process, five times in total. This cleans the filter. Then remove the blanking plug and refit the extractor hose. When the motor is switched off, the sealing flap is released and the dust falls into the bag. By switching on the motor, the sealing flap is raised, so when you remove the bag, waste stored in the body of the extractor cannot escape. Fit a new bag and secure with the elasticated cord. SV50 Filter Removal and Replacement. If there is an occasion where you must remove the filter, undo the wing nuts, rotate the filter away from the mounting studs, remove the filter and place in a see-through waste bag. Knock the filter rim by hand to remove compacted dust. Do NOT thump the filter against a hard surface. Then replace the clean filter, rotating it so the mounting studs engage in the narrow slots. Make sure the steel washers are directly beneath the wing nuts and NOT under the filter. Tighten all three wing nuts and replace the motor. Then run a full air-pulse cleaning cycle to restore maximum airflow. Quikpoint Repointing System – introduction and maintenance advice. The Quikpoint is easy to use and maintain. Mortar is delivered to the nozzle by the auger which is driven by the drill. On this drill, you set the speed using the wheel on the trigger, giving you precise control of delivery on the bed joints and the perps. It takes only a few seconds to fill the hopper and just a little longer to clean it at the end of a session. Always unplug the electrical supply before any servicing. • The tip blades will wear over time. Undo this grub screw to remove and replace them. The spares pack has replacement tip blades and a selection of nozzles. • The auger is the main wear part. Wear will be more noticeable when viewed from the front, with the auger settling on the bottom of the sleeve, leaving a gap above. • Apply silicon grease or petroleum jelly to the O-rings. • After cleaning, make sure the steel nozzle is inserted first into the nozzle holder, followed by the yellow retainer. Re-fit the nozzle holder and secure with the Allen key. • At the back, remove the cam guard and grease the cam coupling and the cam roller. Then refit the cam guard before using the tool again.Professional Brick Raking ToolkitSunrise Tools & Equipment2017-12-11 | Professional Brick Raking Toolkit: sunrisetools.co.uk/brickwork-masonry/brick-raking/packages/brick-raking-tool-kit.html

Magnetic Manhole Cover Lifter on 123 kg Cloverleaf Drain Cover. Note the wire running away from the magnet/cover is part of the onboard weighing system fitted to our test/demo equipment. The magnet itself requires no power supply or recharging, EVER! This cover was lifted for a local authority 'sewer baiting' team, who ironically are limited to handling bags of rodent bait not greater than 25 kg but were regularly expected to lift this type of cloverleaf cover. The majority of highway drain covers will weigh more than 50 kg, which would be the H&S recommended maximum shared lift for two workers. Weight is of course just one of the risks involved in two-person cover lifting - consider cover size, shape, problems of alignment of split covers, poor footing around the cover etc etc - the Manhole Buddy proved an eye-opener to the team and they placed their order the same day. Not only will they be able to work safer, but they acknowledge they will be able to achieve greater productivity as time will not be wasted unblocking keyholes and trying to prise up jammed covers - Manhole Buddy has an in-built cover unseating capability in addition to the regular low-effort lifting and moving functions.SparkBuster Angle Grinder Cutting GuardSunrise Tools & Equipment2012-02-17 | Buy here: sunrisetools.co.uk/dust-control/cutting-chasing/sparkbuster/sparkbuster.html

Manhole Buddy KeyTec is a highly secure method for lifting large split covers and will be the preferred solution where limited or no metallic contact is offered on the manhole cover. A range of stainless steel lifting keys are offered, covers with threaded inserts can usually be connected using an appropriately sized high tensile bolt, with suitable load-spreading washers.Internal Manhole Cover Lifting with Manhole Buddy KeyTecSunrise Tools & Equipment2010-04-01 | sunrisetools.co.uk/cover-lifting/manhole-buddy

This method is much cleaner and probably much faster than using a trowel. The alternative might be a hand-operated 'mastic' or 'caulking' gun. But such hand-operated guns are tiring to use and a likely source of wrist pain due to the constant squeezing action - commonly known as Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). Caulking Guns are also slow to fill as the plunger has to be removed. They are also prone to clogging as the mortar is being expelled under pressure. By contrast, with the Quikpoint Gun, a rotating auger delivers the mortar to the nozzle, so it is being constantly agitated, with little risk of clogging. This video clip shows an inexperienced DIY'er at work - expect faster results in the hands of someone more familiar with the equipment. In professional hands, large areas of jointing can be covered quickly and accurately.Quikpoint Electric Mortar Pointing GunSunrise Tools & Equipment2010-02-18 | Buy here: sunrisetools.co.uk/brickwork/pointing-finishing/quikpoint First time user Gary, gets to grips with the Quikpoint Electric Pointing Gun. Even on this small test area, you see how easy it is to accurately place the mortar in both the bed joints and the perps (perpindicular/upright joints). Look closely in the later sequences and you'll see the mortar flowing fully into the joint. Gary had hand-mixed a standard mortar to a consistency he would use for trowelling. This posed no problems for the Quikpoint system which is also used widely with Lime Mortar mixes. This was Bo's first ever attempt at raking out brick joints. So we equipped him with an alien piece of equipment and let him get on with it. The prospective client wanted a small test area repointed in different styles, so they could chose which to apply across the whole property, a 1970's brick-built detached property, currently with recessed mortar joints. Being a relatively young property, the mortar joints are in good condition, so a powerful angle grinder and a quality raking blade are essential to achieve good productivity. Being in the centre of a rural village, both the client and the contractor were seeking a dust free method of carrying out the work.Magnetic Manhole Lifter - Manhole Buddys Winter MagicSunrise Tools & Equipment2010-01-10 | sunrisetools.co.uk/cover-lifting/manhole-buddy
Lifting iced-over manhole covers using the Manhole Buddy, Magnetic Manhole Lifter.
When there is ice and snow, the key slots used by traditional lifting systems are usually not accessible. But the magnetic solution continues to perform as normal and the procedure for lifting metallic drain and manhole covers does not change.
This video clip shows such a cover being lifted in just over 60 seconds. Accessories are also available to allow the Manhole Buddy to lift kerbstones and paving slabs, as well as various types of non-metallic drain and chamber covers.
Manhole Buddy removes the significant risks normally associated with raising and moving drain covers.
In use, the operator is kept distant from the suspended cover and the open chamber.
Cover lifting is achieved by the operator applying downward pressure on the trolley handle, so no physical lifting is involved.
Adequately sized wheels allow the cover to be withdrawn, yet wheeled back into position when required. Manhole Buddy utilises basic lever and pivot functions in delivering a fast and flexible solution to what was previously an arduous and often dangerous task.
These sequences show the ease with which the Manhole Buddy can be folded away, when work is complete, comfortably achieved in less than 10 seconds.
This mirrors the speed with which it can be deployed at the outset. With no keyholes to be cleaned out and no keys to be selected and fitted, the Manhole Buddy will often have completed the work long before other systems would have been deployed.
The items shown comprise the heaviest combination available, yet the product is comfortably hand-portable.
For further information, visit http://manholecoverlifter.co.ukMagnetic Manhole Lifter - Lifting Storm GratingsSunrise Tools & Equipment2009-02-01 | http://manholecoverlifter.co.uk Lifting Drainage Gratings with the Manhole Buddy Magnetic Manhole Lifter is fast, easy and safe. Simply place the magnet on the grating, activate it through the On-Off lever, then apply downward pressure on the trolley handle.
The cover should rise easily and can be swung away from the open chamber.
Refitting is simply a reversal of the process. At all times, the operator is distant from the risk areas - his hands or feet are never close to the cover - he is distant from the cover or the open chamber whilst lifting and refitting is taking place.
Demonstrates the speed with which the Manhole Buddy Magnetic Manhole Lifter can be deployed.
As time does not have to be spent cleaning out the keyholes, unseating effort can be applied to the cover within seconds and often the cover has been removed long before an operator could fit keys for an alternative system.
Shows the use of the High Leverage facility on the Manhole Buddy lifting trolley to unseat stubborn drain covers.
This facility is probably unique to the Manhole Buddy and significantly speeds the process of lifting embedded covers. And key to its operation is the freedom to place the lifting attachment, the magnet, anywhere on the cover.
In less than 40 seconds, this video shows four examples of heavy drainage covers, including split covers, being raised and moved, with minimal physical effort.
Other videos in this set show the unique Unseating facility, Replacing Covers, Lifting Gratings, the ease with which the equipment can be deployed and packed away and finally, a sequence less than 60 seconds long, which encompasses almost all the elements involved in lifting a cover.
This complete sequence, from unpacking the equipment to replacing the cover takes less than 60 seconds and demonstrates the simplicity of the equipment, speed of operation and minimal physical input required. And please note that the operator remains distant from the suspended cover and open chamber at all times. So we've largely eliminated the risks associated with physical lifting, the dangers of trapped fingers, hands and feet and the potential for the operator to slip or trip near the open chamber.
