Testing out NPC swaps via Cheatengine - Streets of Rage 4 Shad G 2020-05-24 | Through Cheatengine and a bit of research, you can replace most NPCs in the game with other NPCs. You can even play as some of them, easily in some cases, though they often can't perform some of their signature moves. I've yet to figure out a way to play as all of them, or how to make all of their attacks available. Anyway, you can make some interesting remixes of boss fights or even levels that way!yes i gave myself extra lives and yes i don't know my combos :P
