A quick video test I made using the iPhone 7 and the Moondog Labs 1.33X Anamorphic Adapter, shot using the Filmic Pro app.

Workflow and Consensus:
First off, it feels very simple creating footage on your phone and the Moondog Labs 1.33X Anamorphic Adapter makes it seem even more cinematic. It'll feel like a cinema camera right at the palm of your hands. I'll also say that without an ND filter, you are very limited with your exposure especially outdoors. I unfortunately do not have one yet. The Filmic Pro app is a MUST when shooting on your phone, as it has so many functions that'll help you achieve the cinematic look.
Everything was shot either on a tripod or handheld, no stabilizers or rigs were used in this video.
The absolute hardest part was getting the shots able to be edited on my Windows computer. IPhone's native Quicktime MOV files were impossible to manage, so I had to convert them to MP4 files, and even then, I had to convert them in increments of 5 otherwise my software would crash or wouldn't acknowledge the files. Once converted, the edit was relatively simple, although the conversion process in itself was time consuming.
Exporting this video took about an hour, and that's quite a long time for this kind of footage. I've exported scenes and trailers edited with RED footage that takes a mere 15 minutes.
So overall I still wouldn't recommend shooting an entire film on an iPhone 7 unless you were confident in your post-production workflow. Any DSLR or mirrorless camera will work twice as good, and with less hassle. Such a shame since I was really keen on experimenting more with the iPhone 7.
Once iPhones are able to shoot in multiple formats, I think I'll try again.
Settings on Filmic Pro: 4K, Filmic Extreme, 2.39:1, 24 fps.
