Investec has sponsored the Wine and Spirits show for five consecutive years because we appreciate the importance of benchmarking quality and ensuring one of SA's most prominent brand exports, wine, is supported and developed. As Itumeleng Merafe, Head of Private Bank SA says: "Every time you pour South African wine in a glass and enjoy it, it gives you a sense of the excellence that occurs when we come together as a country. South African wines give us an opportunity to show the world what we are truly capable of."
Regarded as one of the toughest wine competitions in South Africa, this year the Investec Trophy Wine show celebrates it's 25 year anniversary.
As evidence of the evolving wine industry, this year 50 golds were awarded, a competition record.
