The Chubb Till Safe Counter Unit is designed to provide safe storage for banknotes at point of sale tills, reducing the risk of theft of cash and possible threats to till operators.
It fits neatly under the counter by the till, allowing the till operator to deposit bank notes into its secure storage compartment, thereby minimising the amount of banknotes in the cash till tray.
Manufactured from sheet steel with an attractive, durable paint finish, the unit features two locks, one to release the whole unit from its under counter location, the other to release the banknote storage compartment, which will store up to 350 notes.
Operation of the unit is quick and easy, the notes to be deposited are simply dropped into the vertical slot at the front of the unit and when the deposit handle is pushed down, the notes are pushed into the storage compartment – job done.
Shop security staff will periodically collect the banknotes from the till safe, to ensure that the unit has space for further deposits.
