well, I need a new mascot, more cute an iconic (less evil) than Dakonda but less Sonic-like than Ray. so I decided to try and create a character based upon all my previous ideas. I designed him as a hedgehog, because they are my favourite animals. The reason Sonic was the first game I played is because I have been very fond of hedgehogs for as long as I can remember. But I couldn't make him a hedgehog! because we have too many "fan character" hedgehogs here on youtube as it is! so I decided he was a porcupine. the name Squishy and the cheeky face expression comes from a character by the same name I created when I was 9. and the colorscheme is Ray's. Red boy and black shoes.
