Parameters let you define numbers which you can use in expressions throughout your project. When you change the value of a parameter, your geometry changes. It's like a spreadsheet but for geometry.

This video is a gentle introduction to parameters in Cuttle. We'll make a parametric angle gauge.

Contents:

00:00 - Intro
00:41 - How to use stroke settings and "Boolean Flatten" to quickly design stick-like shapes
03:35 - Basic math with vectors — Vec(x, y)
06:15 - Controlling the "scrubbing" precision of numbers
07:10 - Using stroke fonts to quickly score text on a laser cutter
07:43 - Parameterizing text contents
10:22 - The difference between "component parameters" and "project parameters"
