Peter AdinRaw Video: Discovery and the ISS, orbiting about one minute apart. Discovery in the front. Something I've never seen before, some kind of cloud, what might be exhaust gases from an OMS burn, Very pecuiar and interesting, I've never gotten video of the shuttle with the NiteMax camera before, so I don't know if this is normal or not, hopefully it is. I ruled out a lens or camera problem. because the ISS just appears as a point of light as it should, but back to the shuttle, and there is the trail. Wondering if anyone else saw this.. leave a comment please if you have any ideas about this. (I bumped the focus toward the end, sorry)
UPDATE: The trail was caused by a waste water dump made by the shuttle after separation from the ISS. Click the link for full story : http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20090911/sc_space/mysteryexplainedglowinnightskywasastronauturine
