This is the first time, I tried using ink pads to make a mixed media canvas. I am still learning on how to work around mixed media projects and this is definitely a trial and I am happy with the outcome. I have a video for the same on how I made this canvas. I used only ink pads to add colour along with white gesso and texture paste. The moulds I used here are shell themed and the canvas has a lot of texture. Mixed media art journal - Tubby craft K E 2020-05-08 | Hello everyoneWelcome back to my channel and remember to subscribeI am back here with another project for Tubby craft and I have used stencils and dye inks to make this art journal mixed media style. I loved making this project and I went in for a underwater theme and used Precious treasure stamp set. The colours used are Chinese blue, Sapphire blue, Turquoise and Aqua blue. To give more to the background, I added some emerald green and lawn green inks. I used texture paste to do some stenciling and heat set it to bring in some rough texture. I used bubble wrap and corrugated part from packing box to do some stamping and also to give some dimension and layers. Materials used:1. Precious treasure stamp set2. I have earlier tried using inks from Little birdie but I really love beyond inks. What are alcohol inks? They are permanent, water proof inks. What can be created? beautiful patterns and backgroundsOn what surface? Yupo paper, ceramic, glass and any non-porous surfaceHow to blend? Alcohol blending solution or Iso-propyl alcoholCan work be sealed? Yes, using varnish or mod podgeDifference between little birdie and beyond inks - Little birdie has a spray nozzle but beyond inks have drop nozzle which helps control the ink. Materials used: 1. Explosion box with bonus mini fotofolio album K E 2020-02-05 | Hello everyoneWelcome back to my channel and remember to subscribeI have two projects would be perfect for Valentine's day gift for loved ones. Its a special day for all to celebrate with loved ones and what can be more special than a handmade gift. I had so much fun and loved making making the explosion box and mini fotofolio album. For the exploding box I used Owl always love you paper pack. This is a 12 x 12 paper pack which has 12 designs and 2 sheets of each design along with an extra die cut sheet. The die cut owls are super cute and lovely to use. Along with the box, I made a flip open photo book which can hold 17 pictures and tied them up with a lace ribbon. This photo open measure 3.5 x 3.5 inches and fits perfectly inside the box. I have bonus project as well today which is a mini fotofolio album which measures 6 x 6 and its trifold album. On the inside of the album, I used one sentiment sheet which has lots of tag elements that can be used.

This is my favourite stencil technique and I love making cards using this technique. I am very happy to share this with all of you. The stencil used here are Side feathered peacock and for the background Fire works. I use Altenew dye inks for this technique. Any dye ink will work here and any colour pencil. The lighter shade of ink the better the highlighting. This works with any stencil that has a large space to colour and has no intricate design. Thank you for watching....
