I'm working on a one-off double knit vest on which I wished to have pre-finished edges. I'm using a 4 st I-cord at all edges. The 2 x 4 cord stitches were added the main fabric at the start of the work. Two passes are made on the cord either end the main fabric which maintains a suitable gauge.
