WCW 2000 has a reputation and, honestly, most of it is deserved. The booking was chaotic, the company was falling apart, management was changing with Vince Russo causing headaches for fans of traditional WCW, and some of the television felt like it was being written five minutes before the cameras went live.
But was everything in WCW 2000 terrible?
WCW 2000 was messy and sometimes even confusing, but buried underneath the bad decisions were a few bright spots that deserve another look. In this video we’re looking at the parts of WCW’s most infamous year that actually worked (or things that I just personally liked). Scott Steiner finally rose to the top of the card and became WCW World Champion, Nitro and Thunder took the brand overseas with international shows, there's also the Jung Dragons vs 3 Count rivalry, and the Natural Born Thrillers came along too in an effort to shake things up.
