This weekend's challenge from Hardware Jams was pretty incomprehensible. These were the instructions: "So up here in the wilds of the North, it seems like Spring has sprung. We are surrounded by blossom and buds popping out all over the place, mother nature showing us her beauty. It is a time of hope, joy, renewal and rebirth.

WAIT A MINUTE!! DID SOMEONE SAY REBIRTH????
Who remembers that software? 303 and 808 emulations bundled up in a neat bit of software…
So, in the spirit of chaos and confusion that all Pandas aspire to, I present a challenge of duality: You can EITHER make a jam celebrating the coming of Springtime, with all the promise that brings (even the odd Stravinsky reference if you can sneak one in?) - a freeform, creative challenge… OR you can make a “celebration of Rebirth” jam - but to do this you should limit yourself to using a TR808, a TR909 and 2x TB303 maximum (obviously clones or emulations or samples of these are absolutely acceptable) - a technical challenge! (Of course, the Easter Egg in here is that it was 303 Day this week…)
Extra points (hahahah no not really) for combining both options! Clear as mud? Good, just like my garden."
All that being said, we decided to do some improv over Stravinsky's Rite of Spring: Spring Rounds. The traditional rendition was done via MIDI to four instances of Cherry Audio's SH-MAX Virtual Synth. The improv (with apologies to Mr. Stravinsky) was done with the Moog Muse, Minimoog Model D and Moog One. The ending also included percussion on the Cherry Audio CR78.
