Earlier this month, on June 6th, the Resilience lunar lander attempted to softly touch down but instead impacted the Moon's surface at a high speed. At the time, we weren't provided any live images during the landing attempt, only telemetry, which gave insight into what went wrong but not the whole picture.
Over the past few days, however, teams working with the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter released some of the first images showing the impact site and crater created by the landing attempt. ispace also released an updated analysis on what they believe caused the hard impact.
