Binary adder - In real life. Newomaster 2016-10-08 | Hey guys,I'm currently at university right now studying computer engineering and as part of my digital logic design class we built a binary adder on a breadboard out of some DIP CMOS logic gate chips on a breadboard. The power and I/O is being handled by a Basys3 FPGA (the board on the right). I have the FPGA programmed to run through the adder's truth table and display the I/O on the green LEDs near the bottom. Just thought I'd share, since it's kinda cool!

I probably shouldn't record on my ORE plot.. really laggy. Once I get my new computer that will be fixed though.In this video I showcase my small and fast dual-read diagonal registers. They are useful in making CLE CPUs, since they fit right under a CLE and can be used to create a fast data loop. The registers feature a 1 tick read on both reads. To make them I used some interesting signal strength trickery to pass the data from the memory to both reads without causing interference on the read control input (which is normally what makes designing these so hard). Redstone torches are overrated... (Torchless CLE ALU) Newomaster 2013-12-31 | In this video I show off an interesting build of mine... a torchless CLE ALU. Using only comparator logic, the torchless ALU can be pipelined at 2 ticks (torches can't because they burn out). The actual ALU is 8 ticks (which is meh) but that speed doesn't matter because it can be pipelined so fast. I will provide a schematic download for the ALU once the ORE build server schematic system is working again. Paralleloram! :D Newomaster 2013-10-23 | Soooo...I was bored and I had redstone, so I created this derpy thing. I present to you: Paralleloram (trademark, copyright, registered patent, whatever). It is 32 bytes of parallelogram-shaped pistonless repeater locking fast ram. Yea... :D I made this half as a joke and half as an actual useful(ish) concept idea. The bussing method (although it could be used with other shapes too) allows it to be relatively fast and relatively compact. All you need to do to make one of these is design a repeater locking ram cell that stacks diagonally, then take those units and stack them on top of each other so they fit in the spaces under each other (please don't ask for a tutorial on this derpy thing xD). Square roots in minecraft pistonless and synchronized (redstone showcase) Newomaster 2013-10-06 | Quick demonstration of a pretty cool device I made. It is a device that can find the square root of a number you input in binary (8 bit). It gives an answer and a remainder (for example, sqrt(65)=8 R1 since ((8^2)+1)=65).I made it with my CLE design that I showed off in my last redstone video. Invisible mazes in minecraft: 1.6 vanilla survival carpet trick (V033) Newomaster 2013-07-04 | I was messing around with the new 1.6 carpets and this is what I came up with. It is a trick to create completely invisible mazes with carpets without any mods or fancy editing stuffs (you know what I mean :P). It can be done in survival easily, all it requires is carpets, some fence gates and blocks.
