Adobe method to Copy and Paste Illustrator content to InDesign:
Adobe's method does not work well, if you copy and paste content from an Illustrator document into an InDesign document. When doing a Copy-and-Paste from Illustrator to InDesign, images or graphics get re-sized, at times. The biggest problem is the text. All text gets outlined or vectored, with no live text! And although the text is on a curve or path, it is not editable, at all.
Markzware OmniMarkz method:
Drag and drop your Illustrator file onto OmniMarkz.
Review the Preview and File Inventory and click the “Open in” InDesign icon.
You can convert Adobe Illustrator to InDesign, with a click, in OmniMarkz! Graphics and images used are at the correct size WITH live text! Yes, OmniMarkz converts text on a curve, ready for you to change font types or adjust sizes, leading, or whatever it is that you need to re-design or edit, now as a new InDesign .indd layout!
