Porsche 997 GT3RS on BBS E88 | Sunset Chaser Obsessed Studios 2022-07-01 | Obsessed Studios and System Motorsports presents our new collaboration film, Sunset Chaser. Because of the rarity of this car as only 1,168 of these were made worldwide or to be more specific 410 in the US we couldn’t resist the urge to tackle this project. After seeing this build in person at our recent Summer Meet event and all the pictures surfacing online we decided to start storyboarding and figured out all the logistics.Thomson, the owner of this beautiful Porsche 997.1 GT3RS has added onto the chassis a variety of modifications that enhance the car's aesthetic features and drivability.Starting with the suspension parts on the car we have quality items such as JRZ RSPRO-3s and a full RSS suspension overhaul.Interior was not forgotten in this build as we have Recaro Classic seats with ABE Leather and Pepita Fabric both in the drivers and passengers side which goes very well with the interior of the GT3RS.With any car I think we can all agree that wheels play a giant role in a build and Thomson definitely did not disappoint with his choice of BBS Motorsport E88s with factory silver faces in a special System Motorsports spec.The fly bys and exhaust clips wouldn’t be nearly as epic if it wasn’t for the Sharkwerks Track exhaust giving a very aggressive tone to the car.We are very excited to finally release this film to you all and we very much hope you enjoy it as we had a blast shooting this project. Honda S2000 Reimagined | Touge Run & Buttonwillow Obsessed Studios 2022-01-23 | Starting out this year with our first collaboration film with Deadset Racing featuring Sky's Honda S2000. When we saw photos of his build for the first time, we were trying get a grasp of what kind of car we were looking at. At first glance from the back of the car you would probably think it’s some kind of newer Porsche. Haha nope it’s definitely a Honda! The retro-fitted Audi taillights definitely is a first for us. With it on, it completely transforms the whole look of the car. Paired with track focused mods and Sky’s personal touch this is definitely one of the most unique S2000 builds we’ve seen around the Bay.As crazy as the car looks, it definitely does show its wear and tear. The owner definitely wasn’t keen on just storing it in a garage for show. Sky is heavily involved in HPDE racing here in Northern California and has raced at tracks like, Buttonwillow and Thunderhill Raceway. It might not be a proper show car, but his lap times with the car shows enough how well put together this S2000 is performance wise. We started the film at the Deadset shop, and decided to go with a more moody atmosphere to reveal the car. After that for the second part of the film we decided to take the car out on a sunrise touge run to get the car ripping through tight corners one by one and to get raw audio of the car echoing through the mountains. And of course no track car film would be right without on track footage. The track footage was done prior to any other parts of the film at one of Deadset's track days. This video took several months to complete. We have implemented a variety of new shots and sound design. Enjoy the video in 4k with a good sound system. Mountain Run | Harrop Supercharged E90 M3 | Fly by & Exhaust Sound Obsessed Studios 2020-11-14 | This is not an ordinary E90 M3. Almost every part of the car has been modified or upgraded. When we asked the owner to send over his mod list so we can write up a description for this video. We had to go through pages of mods and there is no way to mention all of the parts here. Nonetheless, we will try to summarize the build in short. Wendell the owner is truly obsessed if not one of the most detail oriented car enthusiasts we've met. Only the highest quality parts have been added to this already good looking E9x chassis. This is no doubt one of the craziest E90 build we have seen. With this kind of passion going into a build, no wonder it has been featured in several magazines such as Super Street & PBMW,The more we spoke to Wendell, we started to understand his vision of this dual purpose build: a trackable show car. Looking from the exterior, you will find tasteful mods like PSI Motorsports GT4 CF Front Lip, Arkym Aerosport CF Diffuser & Varis CF Lower Rear Diffuser. Custom set of 3-Piece BBS RT88 is the current choice of wheels. Under the hood this engine is paired with Harrop TVS1740 Supercharger, RPi Intake Scoops and Eventuri CF Airbox.For handling, Wendell has added AST 5200 Coilovers, Ground Control arms, Powerflex bushing and Macht Schnell Solid Subframe bushing. To stop this beast on the race track, Brembo 8-Piston Front Calipers & 4-Piston Rear Calipers has been installed.Interior isn't left untouched either.
