Self-Portrait VFX with Gen-3 Alpha Image to Video Common Sense Made Simple 2024-09-05 | I have been working on a music video to coincide with my first album release in 20 years and there was a lot of Self-Portrait Visual Effects involved. I have lost track of how many clips have been generated so far using @RunwayML's Gen-3 Alpha and Turbo. But overall this is about 500 of the outtakes I put into a short compilation audio synced to the Audio Sample track in TouchDesigner by Jeremy Caulfield... Hedra Lip Sync vs RunwayML AI Side by Side Comparisons Common Sense Made Simple 2024-06-23 | I have been working on a music video for the last month or so and some aspects needed a proper lip sync AI. As it nears completion I ended up using @RunwayML lip sync model which has been the best option out there until Hedra poked out its head this week by offering a FREE beta version to their AI lip sync model which so far is performing really well. I put together this comparison video and purposely used more "abstract" portraits to push the limits further on how much the AI lipsync models can handle. Let me know what you think is better in the comments and of course each has its owns strengths but also remember Hedra is still in Beta so depending on the inevitable pricing system it may either make RunwayML step up their game or offer proper competition. James that had so much great content but the recording sounded like they did it inside of a running microwave so it was a horrendous ordeal trying to understand what they were saying. So in my spare time I used some the same techniques I use when editing film and adverts when clients give me really bad audio. I also added some visuals to make the interview slightly more interesting if you want to feel like he is talking back to you directly. I also transcribed for closed captions which is mostly accurate. With the thick accents some words were harder than others to decipher. Feel free to suggest any corrections and I will update them. Iwato Hyena AI Anime using Deforum in Automatic1111 not ComfyUI Common Sense Made Simple 2024-02-27 | I dusted off Deforum and brought back the classic AI animation style I enjoyed so much as I removed more of the rust from my artificial intelligence skillset. As one of the first people on the planet to use Stable Diffusion for Animation publicly. Medals are currently in Post for my Ego hahaha AKA jajajaja for my Spanish speaking comrades...A lot of people always asked me why I stopped using AI in a lot of my personal projects. I was involved in the tech since its infancy, at least when it came to the creative processes beginning back when I was coding Google Colab Notebooks VQgan+CLIP, then PyTTI, and later Disco Diffusion then Dalle and finally Stable Diffusion being open source pretty much changed the whole face of AI generative art and animation meanwhile models like Sora from @openaisora are teasing us with its Advanced Intelligence magic...I couldn't imagine this tech evolving this fast and seeing the community go from a few hundred to millions...Even being one of the first people to dabble in the genre, I have been happy to pass on some knowledge and meet some really interstellar people along the way...As a "traditional" artist i felt in the last two decades, i have danced along so many genres and versions of myself redefining my brand and my persona...A famous artist once told me at one of my shows that I should get really good at one concept and just keep doing that until all the people know you.
