This last week two Israeli-Americans waiting for a table outside at a cafe were approached by a group of three males. Witnesses report that the men waiting were speaking Hebrew to each other and after being approached by the group a heated verbal altercation ensued during which, Anti-Semitic slurs were used. The three aggressors then attacked the two Israeli Americans and continued beating them even after both were on the ground, defenseless, before fleeing the scene before police could arrive. While the three suspects were eventually identified and arrested, the victims still sustained substantial injuries in the unprovoked attack.
