Ghostbusters arrive at the steps of the New York Library to investigate paranormal activities. They find the cause to be Beetlejuice and chaos ensues as Beetlejuice possess the Ghostbusters to a series of lip-sync musical dance numbers.
Several different alterations created various versions of the show, including the addition of Slimer popping through the vehicle's window.
"Ghostbusters Spooktacular" was a separate indoor attraction that ran with Universal Studios Florida's opening day from June 7, 1990 until November 9, 1996. That show also went through another script change, but remained essentially the same experience. "Twister: Ride It Out" replaced the show which opened May 4, 1997 and continues running today. The attraction building is relatively nearby the New York Metropolitan Library set for "Extreme Ghostbusters".
Show ran from 1991 until 2004(?) after Universal did not renew Columbia Pictures' contract to the Ghostbusters franchise.
Songs:
1) "New York, New York" - Frank Sinatra
2) "Ghostbusters" - Ray Parker Jr.
3) "Cleanin' Up The Town" - The Bus Boys
4) "Ghostbusters" theme - Elmer Bernstein
5) "Hey Big Spender" - Peggy Lee

This second version opened at Disney's California Adventure on July 15, 2005 in the Disney Animation building in Hollywood Pictures Backlot.
The theater was formerly "The Animation Screening Room". A film entitled "Return to Neverland" with Robin Williams and Walter Cronkite about Disney animation originally opened with the park. "One Man's Dream" replaced that film until March 2005.
The same technology was previously tested in Disneyland's Innoventions as "Stitch's Picture Phone" beginning 2002/2003 as a temporary attraction. But this format only served less than 5 people at a time. However, that didn't stop its increasing popularity. Stitch finally said "Aloha" one last time at the end of April 2008 to much disappoint of its sudden closure. The area is now occupied by an "Air Scooter" display with the Stitch coloring book and computer games still attached.
Tests were run in Disney's California Adventure's "Drawn to Animation" theater to handle larger crowds with Stitch and then later Crush from "Finding Nemo".
This is all part of Walt Disney Imagineering's "Living Creatures" inititative, which includes the Muppet Lab Mobile (also tested at DCA and EPCOT) & "Lucky" the dinosaur (also tested in DCA, Disney's Animal Kingdom, etc.).

We're drawn to the magic the epic adventure to each classic story that unfolds on screen. Our dreams come alive with each moment we see. When the battle is won. Or when the spell has begun. When two hearts become one it's magic to me.

This short but entertaining character atmosphere stunt show has Zorro and Elena enter a domestic dispute which leads to a swordfight. Opened October 2005.
CREDITS: David Coretti (Zorro) & Michelle Rose (Elena) - Special Thanks to "zombiegirl818"
I'm confident this is closely based on 1998 Amblin Entertainment and Columbia TriStar Picture "The Mask of Zorro" which stars Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Mostly because some of the dialouge spoken in this show is straight from that film.
Rumors were that a more elaborate Zorro stunt show MIGHT be made for the old "Wild, Wild, WIld West Stunt Show" Theater. Personally, I'm hoping this will happen. They can add dancing, live music, gymnastics, sword fights, and who wouldn't want to see Zorro with a bullwhip and swinging on a zipline? Many of the Wild West's stunts could easily be transferred for a Zorro stunt show. The plot could easily be a general (main villain) setting up a trap to capture Zorro. But of course, in the end, Zorro will make his great escape. I think it would also be cool if a stage coach was able to ride through the asile between the audience and stage.
Unfortunately, the 2005 sequel "The Legend of Zorro" may have stopped the progress if rumors were true. The sequel really did suffer from bringing in Zorro's child and pressure to make the film more family-friendly. However, 1999's "The Mummy" had a 2001 sequel in "The Mummy Returns" which involved that child more into the plot and became more successful. Just giving an example.
