Who’s visiting Iceland this April? 🙋‍♀️🇮🇸

Winter kicked in late this year! ❄️ We’re crossing our fingers that April will bring a shift and a touch of spring 🌱

Here’s what to expect (if April turns out as it usually does) 👇

☀️ DaylightApril brings 13–17 hours of daylight — plenty of time to explore waterfalls, glaciers, and everything in between.

🌦️ WeatherTemperatures usually range from 1°C to 7°C (34–45°F). It’s our first spring month, so expect a mix of sunshine, rain, chilly winds, and even a few snowy days in the northern regions.

🧥 What to packLayers are everything! Think wool and fleece for warmth.A light wool base layer is a game-changer if you get cold.Bring warm accessories, and make sure your outer layer is windproof and waterproof.Sturdy boots are a must — it gets muddy!Don’t forget a swimsuit for the hot springs.And yes… sunglasses, statistically, April is a sunny month here in Iceland!
