I used the Minema mod in conjunction with the shaders mod to give a smooth and prettier look to Minecraft.3D Renders: All of the 3D shots were made in Blender 2.5. The stylized look of the render was achieved by giving the objects a Toon shader material with a very specific color ramp from bright orange to grey. The sparks were just icospheres with a glow material. In post, the image and Z data was used to defocus the image using blender's nodes, so that it gave a nice looking bokeh blur to the far away lights.Gontroller Logo: When I was creating the Gontroller logo, I didn't have After Effects at the time, so I had to work with Vegas Movie Studio 10. The program is basically a downgrade of Sony Vegas 10, so I was only allowed to use 10 layers. To work around this, I made the animation for the logo in a different project, rendered it over a green screen, and plopped it back into the final project file using the chroma keyer. The background image was a screenshot by Bestle.Text Wipes: The text wipes were done farther in production, when I had finally bought After Effects. The circle animation was made with basically the same circle copy pasted with different attributes to give it variety. all the shapes were then tied to a null object so that they can be moved in unison, and an orange rectangle was used to wipe the text on-screen.Info Text: The part where the information of the server was introduced was partly done in After Effects, then dragged into Vegas Movie Studio. I used some stock ink flows for the background and foreground of the info text, and used color correction on it to give it an orange tint.Closing Section: The final part where we see shots of Gontroller biomes was all just still images put through Magic Bullet Looks and then hand animated to give it the shaky camera effect. "The Ultimate PvP Experience" was made in Gimp, then animated in Vegas Movie Studio.
