SO! I have quite a bit to say so buckle the fuck up. I'll try to make it quick though.
First of all, I asked some time ago in a community post if there was anything people really wanted to see for my part in this MEP. I got some great suggestions, but I fell particularly in love with Riya Rio's idea of having Holli being in love with Lina, try and make a deal with a demon, only to find out she's an actual demon. I loved the twist so I went with that idea, thank you to Riya Rio for it! :D
Second of all, a huge thank you to the extremely patient Miss Livvy for not granting me just one, but two extensions, due to me getting sick and therefore having to spend time trying to get back on track in school. Thank you so much for not kicking me out x'D
Third of all, one of the rules for the MEP was to make it black&white with a hint of red so I leaped at the opportunity to do one of my old-time favorite gradients from back when harsh colorings were pretty damn common in the editing community. And doing this again so many years later made me realize there's pros and cons to this type of coloring... A pro is that it's easier to hide certain mistakes and simply just not have to fix them cause the coloring will hide it anyway. But that is also a con, you constantly have to keep the coloring in mind or else certain things will disappear or look off. I spent quite a bit of time re-rendering manips just because the colors looked bad with the coloring xD It was a fun throwback though Cx

PLOT:
Holli has the hots for Lina, a chick who randomly dances in the streets cause it's New Orleans baby and dreams do come true. One day, Dr. Facilier, the local voodoo hoodoo man, catches Holli's attention. She follows him to a place best described as perfect for human trafficking and buys a card he claims will literally summon a love demon. Either Holli is fucking blind or she assumes the picture of the love demon looks a lot like her innocent little crush because that's who she's in love with...
Either way, she goes to the forest to summon the demon cause *insert Frollo saying "witchcraft"* and what the fuck do ya know, the love demon actually IS Lina. Before Holli can question her own stupidity, Lina distract her with a kiss that takes her breath away. No, seriously, she's dead now, especially after Lina uses her demonic powers to break Holli's neck and make her look like the crooked man. After the unnecessary neck-breaking, Lina throws Holli into the card, making her the love demon, cause Lina needs a vacation. The end.
