I might be down with “human malware,” but that didn’t stop me from upgrading my studio once again.
This time I’m taking the plain boring door to my office and turning it into a Cyberpunk Access Portal! Complete with 3D printed panels, integrated RGB lighting, and a few sci-fi details that make Mandic Labs 2.0 feel more like the starship it’s meant to be!
Every piece of the trim was designed in Fusion 360, printed in Urban Gray Prusament PETG on my Prusa Core One print farm, and powered by open-source WLED lighting built on custom PCBWay controllers: pcbway.com/project/shareproject/WLED_Controller_35c81333.html
Between designing the frame, wiring 163 addressable LEDs, and giving the whole thing that “space station aesthetic,” this project might be my favorite part of the workshop so far!
