I recently completed my first book, and before I take the next big step of submitting it to literary agents, I wanted to ensure it's as polished as possible. To do that, I decided to bring in a professional—someone who can help me identify any story blindspots and refine my punctuation and grammar.
In this video, I’ll be working with book editors I found through today’s sponsor, Fiverr. My ultimate goal is to find the right editor to tackle my entire book. But since that’s a huge commitment, I’m starting small by asking a few editors to work on the first two chapters of my novel. This sample will give me a sense of their editing style and whether they’re the right fit for my project.
